I had a lot of fun watching this. A few minor nitpicks about the kid playing him, he just didn't do it for me. Most of the jokes just didn't land with me at all, and there is a ''twist'' of sorts that happens, which I already knew about beforehand that also didn't work for me, but everything else is top notch. I keep seeing some complaints about pacing issues here or there, but I didn't have issues with any of that, I also was wired up on caffeine, so take that as you may. Momoa is just having a lot of fun and that is contagious.His screen chemistry with Heard took a bit for me to finally feel it, but she does a good job with her part. Not nearly enough Black Manta, but I knew that going in. Patrick Wilson did fine, but his role could've been played by anybody imo. I mostly just admire Wan for having the balls to stick everything on the big screen, some stuff may not work, but you gotta admire that its even up there. This is full of cheese tho, which I kinda dug. I also want to see it again immediately, this will have long sea legs. 8/10

Lawd. It just feel so surreal to be reviewing an Aquaman movie. Never even thought I needed one or occurred to me that I would ever see it one day.

I wish Zack would gather up a bunch of his fans and screen the movie for them at his house or something. The only thing worse for me not liking a movie is to see other people not enjoy something they should have every right to be excited for.

I didn't think there was any way you were going to enjoy Aquaman unfortunately after seeing it myself, but I hope there are CBMs made that suit your tastes asap. I think it's possible in the right hands for someone to make something that would please fans of the different styles.
