I always wondered why some reviews of bad-terrible entertainment pieces from any medium go this far for comedy purpose.

It's not just that. Too many reviews used to contain "I'd rather be mutilated or physically tortured rather than being subjected to this garbage".

I always wondered why some reviews of bad-terrible entertainment pieces from any medium go this far for comedy purpose.

Its the obvious absurdity of the statement that may or may not make it funny to the recipient of the joke, clearly I wouldn’t prefer world war 3 over watching Batman vs Superman again.

Dude I’d much rather prefer a debate of Russia, China, US, Iran over BvS to decide the outcome of the war, like the free world would win with the Snyder cult at their disposal, they specialize at driving people nuts

yea i was in taipei most of the time, election billboards for kmt and dpp candidates were everywhere.

it got pretty humid at times and i got bitten by mosquitoes at a park a good amount, but it wasn't too bad.
when i get bitten by mosquitoes in the usa, they actually seem worse. lol

the food is always amazing - i don't get sick from it at all.
stinky tofu and beef noodle soup!
i also ate alot of pasta and japanese food there - lot of teppanyaki.
taiwan is a food lover's dream.
a coffee lover's too - so many coffee shops there. (cama cafe and louisa...and also starbucks, lol)

i wasn't familiar with the shazam comics, so i had to look up what that caterpillar was about.
if they are following through on that, the sequel is going to be wild.
i hope they fully embrace that crazy comic bookey weirdness.

I just don’t get how genocide is in the dna of The Rock tho, are they just gonna ignore or retcon that Shazam history lesson where he murdered millions this quick?

Because dude is not promoting this as “a cautionary tale” of the downfall of a person, he’s hyping this as the punk rock version of Superman, or the popular version of Henry Cavill =P

Maybe they need to make the Shazam finale as a JL movie if we are talking about hierarchy changes, I mean Sup is not exactly at the top of the financial ladder at WB, you need to take down WW and Aquaman first, heck, he probably needs to take down Joker first.

it would be a very bad idea to do a flashpoint movie for The flash's first movie. like immensely dumb.

Just retcon the snyder movies and introduce Pattinson and new superman if they want it connected. Or I dunno have a bit of time travel in first movie to set it up

We have to keep in mind that in All cbm's (including MARVEL movies) strict application of real-world physics / real world logic doesn't apply. As fantasy-Scifi stories require certain amount of suspension of disbelief.

Anyway, like I said, no sweat in contradictions/retcons. What the hardcore fans pay attention to/keep track of vs what the overall majority of the audience is keeping track of (or hell, actively remembers) are usually vastly different. Flashpoint doesn't really need to exist to explain why the new movies contradict things or why certain characters have been recast or rebooted.
