This is Macau health professionals screening passngers from Wuhan, China, probably a few days ago. Very good protocol but the airline company doesn't even make passengers wear masks nor do they have the awareness to do so.
Wuhan the city has been shut down now, Gotham TDKR style, nobody goes in nor out (unless you sneak out).
Surrounding countries (e.g Taiwan) are starting to promote awareness of reduce frequency of going to public places, frequently wash hands, check temperatures, and wear a mask going out or if you have flu like symptoms and see your doctors.
Mother in law in China still think it's in Wuhan and very limited outside of that so meh.
Rumors of the diseases started in mid-December, was constantly denied or claimed to be under control, as late as 9th Jan officials were still saying it's not human-human transmission and no medical staff are infected, 3 days ago their SARS hero expert was allowed to go on record saying it's human-human, and 14 medical people have been infected. Xi finally said something 3 days ago. Death number was 9 yesterday today it "jumped" to 17. He probably couldn't contain it anymore thus have to come out like this to prevent this from exploding further.
Has spread to US, AUS, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, HK and various provinces in China.
Chinese New Year is this weekend so lots of their tourists will come out, and citizens will go back for visits before coming back.
So take precautions if you need to but at least be aware of what's happening. NZ customs was still like meh yesterday when I informed them. Today some politicians and experts finally started warning them to at least take precautions
