Lounge of Justice - Part 90

And I heard, as it were, the noise of thighs: one of them saying: "Come and see." And I saw. And behold, a natural PAWG.

Happy 30 scribe! I'm clicking up to 32 soon. 30's are the uphill climb to true adulthood. Realistically, I was happy to get out of my 20's.

Hope you had a good one \S/.

Thanks man! I feel the same. I also came across the song “Dragonball Durag” on my bday and I can’t think of a greater gift.

Whoa. Mangold on Indiana Jones. I wasn't really looking forward to another one, but now I'm curious.

interesting choice.

are they gonna bring shia back?
you can't leave that thread hanging since crystal skull made it seem like he would take on indiana's legacy. lol

Vudu is doing one of those "get $2 credit if you watch these Last Chance Movies" promotions today, so I'm watching all the Burton/Schumacher Bat-flicks so that I can get enough credits for a free movie, lol. These days I find the difference in tone between B89 and BR actually kind of jarring when you watch them back-to-back. Obviously the change to BF will be even more so, but that's a more expected change.

lol. batman 89 was more of a perfect balance between burton and the studio mandates.

br was the studio giving burton more room - it felt more german expressionist.

i enjoyed alot about br but always liked b89 more as a whole - it felt the closest in spirit to what bob kane and bill finger originally imagined. that pulpy, mysterious vigilante.

Two Lovers
A Passenger
And Drug Dealer

Narrator: Reek wears a black turtleneck, but no pants. He sits waiting for the woman he loves, but she filed a restraining order many moons ago, but still out of pity, she meets with him one last time. ComicChick walks in slowmotion wearing a long vintage summer dress, purple eyeliner, dirty blonde, red high heels, cigarette in her lips.

@Reek : I know you probably think I'm crazy but tis' all out of love?
@ComicChick : You put my cat's poop in a jar and kept it for ''safe keeping'', so uh.
reek: You're probably nutty, coo-coo crazy too. It's not your fault, you know? Just like, everybody treats you different, you know? Like, you make jokes and they're not funny, but people laugh anyway. That's gotta make you nuts.
CC: I like how you can compliment and insult somebody at the same time, in equal measure.

reek: Baby, you made a promise to me, okay? You said, "for better or worse." You said that. You said it. It was a promise.
CC: Go away.
reek: Go away? That's a weird name.

Real life doesn't have a unified tone, so a shift of tone from one film to the sequel doesn't bother me.

this is the perfect birthday present. I am now 23 years young. Thank you, brother... We will stand together until the very end... and for the record, CC likes talking "valley girl english"... so she says "guhway!" not go away... shes a sassy one.

Generally speaking, I feel the same, but in this case, I just much preferred the vibe of the first one. BR became too much of a general Tim Burton movie for me.
Understandable point of view, one I find relatable.

BR had some very good fight scenes though. i like how batman beats up on the red circle gang and his fights with catwoman.
and the suit looks awesome in shadow.
burton really knew how to use lighting and shadow.
