Lounge of Justice - Part 90

I’ve worked with many good people on jobs that have afforded me more money than I thought I could ever make at that age. Still a wack job tho lol. It’s not a slight against my co-workers or anything. Job just sucked.

i like to crap on my upper management from my previous job. cuz they were unethical and j**koffs.
i got nothing but love for my former coworkers and direct managers though.

Was that job something that resulted in a collaborative creative product displaying all those people’s work? If so, I would also find it tacky if you had a public platform that you used to flippantly bash those people’s work like your own personal punching bag in order to win points with the masses. I wouldn’t consider you scum tho, just tacky and unprofessional. :oldrazz:

Lol...yes. In my defense tho, I'm not hating on the talent of those people. We all did our best under the circumstances. But it's still a garbage product. Or various garbage products in my case. You may call it tacky since I benefitted at the time, but I'm also the one who invested my time and effort and took a long-term hit in the end (I couldn't get hired for over a year). So yeah, screw that job.

I'm not calling you tacky for saying the job sucked. I'm saying it would be tacky if you had a public platform and persistently made fun of all those people's work. Like, I've worked on films too, one of which definitely didn't turn out as well as we'd all hoped. And it's all well and good to admit that and talk about that freely, but if the lead actress from that film became world famous and suddenly turned that film into her own personal joke that she wanted the world to mock with her, I can't say it wouldn't sting a bit. Because even if we agree with her that the job sucked, it's not like we didn't spend a year of our lives trying to make that the best film we could. It would've been kinder for her to just let the film die in obscurity, which GL has been trying to do for some time now.

i like to remember martin campbell as the man who directed casino royale - which is probably one of the best bond films to me.

Mask of Zorro was a fave of mine growing up, so I'll always have a soft spot for him regardless. But yeah, CR was great too. He's a great action director as long as that action is practical, imo. He was just out of his depth with all that CGI, I think.

Paul Phoenix is by far my favorite Tekken character, bar none.

I finally seen that Tyrese Django audition tape. I just can’t stop laughing.

Anyone else see Momoa talking about the Snyder Cut?

oh is there something new from momoa now?

i do know eisenberg recently mentioned he wanted to see the SC because he filmed more footage than was shown in the theatrical cut. the interviewer who was asking him about it was a d**khead though.

If MK succeeds I hope we get another pass at Tekken and Soul Calibur.

I'm surprised Netflix or another streaming service hasn't tried making a TV show out of one of the big fighting games. Castlevania was dope.
