What was disappointing was lack of announcement on what's happening to movie projects like New Gods, Trench and JL Dark (are they planning both movie and a series?)

I suppose Patty Jenkins is planning Amazons series for HBO Max, did she say anything ? I missed that panel.

Are they going to announce a GLC series in that Sept Fandome event ?

MAX is pretty great actually and it doesn't have a terrible player like Disney+ so it's much easier to skip to a specific scene.

What device are you watching it on? I find on the PS4 it's kind of slow and clunky. So is Amazon Prime. Netflix works really well, is quick and easy to navigate. Probably the most annoying thing about the HBO Max app on the PS4 though is there is no "quick back" button that you can hit to rewind it 5 seconds back like Netflix and Amazon have.

Honestly, I wish Warner Bros Animation would take a break from making any more Batman films and allow other heroes to bask in the spotlight. It doesn't even have to be Superman or Wonder Woman. I wish we could see any of the following heroes/titles get animated films of their own:

- Green Arrow and Black Canary
- Hawkman and Hawkgirl
- Green Lantern
- Black Lightning
- The Flash
- New Gods
- Booster Gold and Blue Beetle

They tried a few Green Lantern films. They were both good, but I don't think either one sold the numbers they were hoping. The second one being out around the time of the live-action flick probably didn't help either.

That's most likely why they're mostly sticking to Batman, Superman and the Justice League. JSA is the deepest cut they've done in a while, and I'm guessing that only got greenlit because of the Stargirl show and the Black Adam movie.

The PS4 Max app is clunky as ****. I was using that before I got my Shield. But the Shield/Android TV app is smooth as butter.

Thoughts on The Batman trailer :

Positives :

- Looks like the story is going to be really interesting. I'm so down for a serial killer Batman story.
- I love Pattinson's Batman. Dude is brutal. His "I'm vengeance" is probably the most hype moment for me in Fandome.
- Beautiful cinematography.
- Great theme. Its stuck in my head.
- I have complete faith in Matt Reeves to make a good movie.
- I liked the beatdown, reminded me of the warehouse scene. More of the same please.
- The cast is so good.


Negatives :

- Pattinson's Bruce looks kinda emo ngl. What's with the haircut?
- His physique is fine, he is going for a more leaner look like Keaton. I dig that, but the suit is not good. The cowl is the worst part. Prefer Begins/BvS suit.

Pattison looked a helluva lot like Keaton in that Catwoman fight. He reminds me so much of Jae Lee's Batman.

Cowl reminds me of Daredevil, which kind of takes me out of the scene.

I love the leathery look and shine of the cowl, especially in the rain. When you focus on it for a while you’ll find things about it that you don’t necessarily like, but it looks great in motion, which is all that really matters to me.

I just think the overall sleekness of the suit isn't what Batfans are used to. The cowl is somewhat shaped in different ways..reminds me of dracula in a way so visually (and especially after BatFleck's broot) it's so different. In many ways, it's exactly what it needs to be to separate.

This won’t be the last bat suit we see him in. I honestly feel like it won’t even be the one he uses towards the end of the film. It serves the same purpose that ezra’s flash suit serves, and I wasn’t crazy about that one either. But story wise, we get why it looks the way it looks.

when you start at the beginning or close to it, you’ve afforded yourself the freedom to show the audience how a character will get to a certain point, and this batman is still very much up and coming.

The chest logo is even missing the Bat-ears so we're definitely getting another suit later down the road, or at least have the complete emblem on the chest by the end of the movie (hopefully).

pattinson batsuit overall is pretty good, imo.
he can move great in it.
the cowl does look weird in some angles - but i feel it's something that will grow on me.

it does look a bit like the netflix daredevil cowl because of the wide chin opening but then we've grown accustomed to seeing the cowl a certain way because of the movie batman's.

i thought the costume looked especially good in the part where they showing him fighting kravtiz's catwoman and the part where he's flying up with the grappling gun.

it feels much more practical and DIY than what's come before.

also, gotham feels very much like a character itself now - compared to the last 2 nolan films where gotham seemed a bit like a generic city.
