Lounge of Justice - Part 90

You gotta love YouTube. When they're not screwing over content creators with their vague guidelines, they're making ads longer than a video itself. :funny:

You don't love back-to-back unskippable 15 second ads?

The only concern you can have with this approach is if the previous Spider-Men have more presence or are more interesting than the current one. I much prefer Maguire and Garfield over Holland. Holland seems like a good guy, but his Spider-Man is pretty forgettable to me. Now you risk putting that in greater contrast, similar to Hoechlin next to Welling and Routh.

you mean like everyone overshadowing Ezra Miller in his own film:oldrazz:

Sony knows that irrespective of the fact that people will be aware that it's a gimmick, they will lineup to see Tobey, Garfield and Holland together.

I don't know how Tobey looks nowadays, haven't seen Dunst in anything recently either.

Garfield can play the Spidey that dies early and Tobey can play the old, *****e Peter who mentors Holland :funny:

I do wonder if they will end up fast tracking Miles into this film since they are doing this now (reacting to DC again lol)

that’s really possible actually, Grant and original Barry

Depends on which version of Miller's Barry we get, the annoying comic relief Joss gave us or a more well-rounded version that I hope we see in Snyder's version. The former is easy to make look bad next to two heroic, likeable Flashes, the latter hopefully will be at least on the same level as those guys.

Ya maybe some emotions and heroics, probably will be restored in the SC

But it doesn’t matter at the end of the day, this guy’s gonna overshadow all the other Flash

Also, what's worse than a youtube video with a 15 second lead-in ad that you can't shortcut? TWO 15 second lead-in ads that you can't shortcut.

Actually had one of those the other day for a 25 second video. The ads were longer than the video itself. Madness.
15 seconds are skippable for me, but I like to support channels by letting them run their course and I let the whole video play, even on mute.

Here's the horrible thing to shiver at; I got hour long advertisements more than one, and these are notably longer than the videos they play on. Why would someone making a video this long pay Youtube to turn it to an ad? That's ridiculous.

So rumors are De Haan and Dunst are back, I want Defoe the most (more than Tobey lol)

and we need the landlord asking Holland for rent, and his daughter who is a hot milf now hitting on Holland

Where's the rent ? and, fix the door.

Ugh, got a notification from Chrome that some app I have may have been breached leaving almost 200 passwords unprotected. Had to change them all (or delete ones from sites I no longer use, which fortunately were a lot). So annoying.

Anyway, carry on.
That’s a serious pain. :csad:

And there should be a rule against that. Ads should only be allowed to be a maximum of a certain percentage of the video length. Or they should be skippable.

Temporary. But the situation for cinemas is pretty bad. WW84 and Dune will definitely move which means no big movies until April and even that is not set in stone. AMC can supposedly survive for only 6 more months.
Thanks. Such a shame this is for an industry we love. :csad::csad:

I seriously hope they don't die off if Covid still endures well into the latter half of next year.

I would imagine that some big companies will buy these chains for pennies down the line but the situation may be pretty apocalyptic in 2021. Right now the bast case scenario is that mass vaccination starts around next summer. So theaters could be relatively safe this time next year. But most chains could very well be bankrupt by that point.
