Lounge of Justice - Part 90

One silver lining in terms of keeping the integrity of this version is they probably won't be too concerned with world building given that Reeves will be doing that in his own Bat corner. They likely won't care too much about introducing a bunch of other villains or supporting characters from the Batman mythos. I don't see a Mr. Freeze or a Poison Ivy popping up in this, though I can definitely see a Lex Luthor...

WB will end up making the same mistakes.Take a positive and turn it into a negative by using the success of The Joker and force feed the same formula rather than appreciate how it worked organically.

Who's the man? He is :D

todd should totally do a Joker vs Lex movie

Joker V Luthor: Dawn of Redemption for 2016

Not sure about a Joker sequel... gut feeling is that they should leave it alone.

Struggle to believe they'd go for Darkseid given how CGI heavy it'd need to be. Plenty of other characters who could be done with a small budget.

Hollywood would never leave a billion dollar movie alone, at the end of the day,, it is business and maybe we get some cool origins villain stories out of this thing

get tilda swinton, glue a bunch of rocks to her face and replace apokolips with The Bronx or something

boom, theres your next dark, gritty and cost effective DC villain movie

Jason Momoa is shooting a movie about 20 minutes from my house here in the Pittsburgh area. My wife drove past and saw them shooting and was amazed to see Jason on the road. Amazing!

Deadline claims the report about the Joker sequel is not true. Love when one trade calls another "clickbait". lol

Yeah, I had my doubts, nowadays....

Variety > Deadline >HR.

HR is allowing clickbait specultive articles.

Now who's laughing

And Phillips earning 100M on back end deals, lol, he the new RDJ

Was there any sign of a sequel hint or easteregg near the end of the movie like in Batman Begins?

At the end it's him in the Arkham asylum so audiences are split on whether it's a lunatic lying he's Joker or imagining it, or he could be there because he's the Joker sent there by the Batman, it's pretty open and he's alive so they could go anywhere they want really. But they did show the wayne murders and referred to it again in the epilogue, if you want easter eggs...

I am sure someone at the studio has at least suggested trying to do a Battinson vs. Joker movie now, regardless of how feasible it actually is.

joaquin's joker felt like such a elseworld's one-off, it doesn't make any sense to me for there to be a sequel.

i wouldn't even call this a comic book movie at all.
it is like a modern day dr. jekyll and mr. hyde - a horror movie.
about a man who has his demons and struggles to be a decent human being, but eventually let's those demons take over.

when i watched it, i did not even think this was THE joker. it is its own thing.
