Man Matrix Resurrections seems like it's ending a year of mediocre WB theatrical films with yet another mediocre WB theatrical film. In retrospect, they must have known back when they made the HBO Max announcement that 2021 was going to be a rough year for them at the BO and thus said F it.

Hopefully both of these shows keep improving once they’ve built up a big fanbase. Great having the prospect of multiple ongoing fantasy shows.

The Kingsman films are mediocre and the last one crashed and burned both with critics and the audience. Mathew Vaughn can stay the hell away from Superman.

As for the Matrix...it seems to be doing decent with critics according to RT. (which seems to be what people care about) I am sure it will streamed to high heaven so WB probably counts it as a win. I will see it in the theater when I get back from Mexico.

I 100% agree. Aside from Kickass, I’m really not a fan. I’m part of the vast minority who doesn’t like X-Men: First Class.

Half of First Class is very good...but the other half is just crap. The villains are laughably bad.

According to ViewerAnon, Batffleck dies in the first act of the film. Speculation: Affleck’s death will be used as the emotional inciting incident that prompts Ezra’s Flash to try & reverse time, with the intention to prevent Affleck Batman from dying but instead of traveling back in time he ends up traveling to a another universe - which is the Burton Batman universe. Which is, of course, where he will meet Keaton’s Batman. Affleck’s Batman dying in the DCEU would be somewhat ironic as his death was planned even in Zack’s plans for JL Part 3. So in a way they would be fulfilling Zack’s intentions after all.

Peeped the Flash cast list that went up on Twitter. Interestingly I don't see Harry Lennix. Wasn't he supposed to be appearing as Martian Manhunter, or am I misremembering?
