it was a great performance and i enjoyed the movie, but has almost nothing to do with the original character from the comics.

i watched it once, thought it was well made, but don't care to watch it again.

A quick DR recap.

DR is filled with neckbreakers. A true wakanda. Some of the ubers or taxis are just dudes in pickup trucks and you ride in the back. Walked at all hours, the smaller areas were vibing and alive. A single breh could've eaten well here, jesus christ. Mosquitos will eat your soul tho. Had an older gentlemen roll me cigars right on the spot. The beach was warm and clear, but for the most part my ass always stay out of the ocean, I don't trust it. At some point we all went for a hike, which was suppose to be only a mile or so, but our ''guide'' had us go the wrong/longer way, not fun at all. One of the local neighbors was having cockfighting on his property, which is a sight to see. Not for fainted heart, but seeing them go at it, tis is just in their blood, I don't endorse it, but it is what it is. I can see myself living there one day, it truly is beautiful and quite simple.

Hit two big milestones this week. After a year of marriage, my wife and I finally had our wedding on Sunday. Was just an absolutely rager and we had a f****** blast. Then woke up to the news today that the promotion I've spent the last year working toward finally came through along with a $22k pay bump. This will be the first time in my 32 years of life that I will no longer have to worry about money.

I am just over the gahdamn moon with all this. And most important, ready to just enjoy life and be a person not wrapped up in wedding planning and career progression and poverty. Really feels like we closed one book and are finally starting another one.

And really glad I finally have time to post here a little more often. Been creeping on this place, but haven't been able to be as active as I'd like. It's good to hang with you folks again.

12 monkeys is probably my favorite movie and performance from him.
