Went to a funeral today, was weird everyone sitting apart from each other, no one hugging, no wake, close relatives not being able to attend.

sorry for your loss.

my friend mentioned she recently did a zoom meeting for a funeral. it's a weird time we're in. and it's sad.

praying we are able to improve testing for covid and find a vaccine soon.

Have we seen that Superman pic in any poster ?

It's a brave new world where Wonder Woman is front and center and Superman and Batman are both shoved off to the side (with Batman hidden behind someone). Reminds me of the Justice League box art where she was the one in the center.

So this is one of them wtf moments and kinda weird.

Went in to my local 'Safeway' for some food/supplies. Masked up, gloves and all that. I kinda want to buy one of them ''Venom'' face masks with the tongue out. Anyway, I'm in the pasta section, and I look to my right, I notice a simple but nice looking gal in black yoga pants, it was early so I can appreciate a nice view so early. Anyway, at some point I take another look and something was off, she seemed familiar to me, but couldn't place her...I moved on to a different place trying my best to remember where I've seen her before, while putting stuff in my cart and whatnot, actress? Nah, writer? Nah, singer? don't think so. AND then it hits me like a brick wall! This woman looked exactly like Casey Anthony! I take out my phone and look her up, got a clear pic and then try my way back and hopefully take another look, found her by the alcohol section, cheap wines etc...I didn't want to be a creep, I didn't go up to her and ask, would never take a strangers pic in public without them knowing, but got a good look this time, I'm now 95% sure this chick was Casey Anthony. Wild.

Keeping it real honest, she looked a bit thicc.

There will probably be a lot more reschedulings before this is over. Even some of the giants are taking precautions in case those "Things should be back to normal by Christmas" predictions turn out to be overly optimistic.

Someone did a Cavill mash up when this originally came out. That's pretty much Henry's face and how he smiles sometimes. And it hides his distinctly British lower teeth. It doesn't look great because of the angle, the shot choice, etc. But it's also just not that big a deal. People just look for anything to nitpick over.

Of course that's Cavill's face and smile. But they edited it, pieced it and CG'ed the lower lip and curvature of his smile, teeth, etc. They also vertically elongated his chin. Nobodies mouth is that close to their lips unless you look at someone upside down. Stop with the angle BS. That's horrific and gets zero pass.

Nobody's mouth is that close to their lips? The mouth begins at the space where the lips end, does it not, because the mouth is a cavity things fit inside? So actually pretty much everyone's mouth is that close to their lips.

It's a shot from essentially underneath him. Of course the resulting visual appearance has to do with the angle of the shot. Different angles produce different visual effects depending on the structure of whatever you're filming. There are angles Cavill doesn't look as good from. That is one of them. I'm not saying it's a good shot, or that the CGI is good, and it's probably one they should have worked on. But while it's off, it's not that far off from what the man looks like. Google Henry Cavill and look around on the net. Dude's jaw is massive and he does some interesting things with it.

Again, that's Cavill's smile. That's Cavill's face....but it isn't. Henry has a chiseled and squared jawline. Not a foot shaped one. No excuses for that shot. And that's not nitpicking. It's an atrocious attempt, which is a synonymous adjective when describing JL in a nutshell, especially Henry's face. Check out the "I'll take that as a yes" scene in the trailer. That's what he's supposed to look like.

I've tried to give the new Spiderman flicks a rewatch. I just bloody hate them. We get no real emotional pull for any of the villains, the humor leaves me cold, and I just don't like following the adventures of this kid. I'm in the minority about this film version of the character around the hype, but Spiderman is my second favorite cb character after Batman, it just a bit of a bummer. I don't worship them Raimi flicks, but these Marvel Spiderman flicks can't bloody come close to his Spiderman 2. I wasn't necessarily a fan of the Garfield Spiderman flicks either, but those were a bit more of an easy watch for me.
I guess this is how them Superman fans must feel. lol

Same boat my man. Holland is very likeable in the tole but his movies are just so whatever. He was great in Civil War though.

Yeah I don't hate them but I don't find them particularly memorable either. Seen them once in the theater, never looked back since. I think I remember Spidey's scenes from the Avengers flicks better than from his own movies. Still, I think Keaton and Gyllenhaal both did well though.

I dunno when I heard what they had planned for the 3rd one I think they made a better call. Personally I would have just brought Garfield’s Spider-Man into the MCU & done a new Spider-Man film with him post Civil War called Spectacular Spider-Man & treated no it as a fresh start for the character bringing in MJ etc.

I started reading the script for that new Florence Pugh flick/directed by Olivia Wilde. I was hooked right from the start and just had to keep going. Pugh with another great character! Chris Pine is bloody perfect for the other role too. I'm still uncertain as to what character Shia will play here, the only other two that come to mind is for the role of ''Doctor Anderson'' and possibly the man in black, but that character doesn't have ANYTHING to do, but maybe they expand on this character with some rewrites or something. The script just flew when I read it with Pugh and Pine attached, saw every damn scene come to life.


My only concern is Wilde. I didn't really like her first directorial debut, but she deserves another shot for sure. Wilde will most likely play the character of Betsy. I enjoyed the hell out of this script.

Felt like an early 2000s' cbm. Eiza Gonzalez was nice to look at. Not worth the rental cost.

I loved booksmart, you could do a whole lot worse for a debut feature as a director
