I was great actually. Made me a Hal Jordan fan.

Vol 1 was VERY good. May be the best Earth One book they’ve put out. It was a nice alternate modern take on Green Lantern. So happy theyre doing another.

I still would put the Superman series above it but it was better than Batman and I was very surprised by the Batman stories. Really loved them both. Teen Titans vol. 1 was also excellent.

Great news I love the Earth One line. Still waiting for them to announce Superman vol. 4 .

I know JMS said there was only going to be 3 Earth Ones and there wouldn't be a 4th volume so they'd had to find a new writer. I did like Shane Davis's art. I only got to read up to Vol 2. Got Vol 3 on the shelf. Maybe I'll do more reading soon. Looking forward to getting the Superman Smashes the Klan GN on the 20th.

They are out there. They are good but very out there and can put some people off.

I wonder if it could also have something to do with the Ardian Syaf controversy at the time. He drew Vol 3 and shortly after that things blew up when he put those antisemitic messages in his Kitty Pryde book. We've never heard a thing about new Superman Earth One volume since. On a better note, Gary Frank is almost finished with Batman Earth One Vol 3 and Yanick Paquette is currently working on Wonder Woman Vol 3, so I'm glad to see those books are apparently selling well.

Morrison Wonder Woman was a lot like Batman Odyssey.

MOS borrowed heavily from the Earth One stories. Even BvS did with the worlds reaction to Superman.

Never mind I just saw the price of this. After just buying the Cavill Superman bust this would just put me in the hole way too much.
