Definite Netflix Daredevil vibes, and I mean that as a good thing.

Man, Matt Reeves' iteration feels like what a better and more serious 90s-era Batman could've been. The Nirvana usage feels like he knows that too.

I ABSOLUTELY loved everything! What they showed today was killer!

Though, the lack of Superman content is eye rolling and really chaps my a s s. Not even a single appreciation comic book panel? The hell outta here.

Zack's ZL is everything and I'm forever grateful we're getting it. ZSJL looks beautiful. All in all though, there really isn't much more to say on the Superman front as we are stuck at square zero. I'll probably take a break from posting a bit and will pop in here and there until there is REAL Superman news.

Thankfully, WW84 and The Batman delivered big so I'm mostly happy. Plus I get to watch Man of Tomorrow shortly and am one of the people actually looking forward to Supes & Lois and their panel in a few weeks, so I've got silver linings.

Rock's panel got me freakin JAZZED.
Levi and the cast of Shazam are obviously teasing Superman. That was great.

But it's NOT all just Henry. It's other stuff too like not even dedicating a comic book panel or an overall appreciation piece for the character. That bothers me.

I knew going into this there was no Superman movie announcement (as BN brilliantly said the other day, if they couldn't keep Affleck's return under wraps for Fandome, no way in hell were they gonna be able to hide a new Superman movie with nobody catching wind), so that wasn't surprising.

What was a far bigger shock to me was the lack of anything pertaining to the Green Lantern and Justice League Dark shows for HBO Max.

Given that the service has been struggling and AT&T just doubled down on throwing their whole support behind it, I was expecting there'd at least be a tease of some kind.

Yeah they removed the actual movie from their schedule because it was gonna stream in the "Watchverse" room, which is what all got bumped to September...at which point the movie will have been out for weeks.
