Really sad. I don't think anyone had any idea. He was a judge for the NBA slam dunk contest back in February and I remember thinking he looked really thin, but I didn't think much of it, thought it could be for a role. This took me by surprise.

He was battling this for a long time and most had no idea. He's left a lasting legacy for sure though. Jackie Robinson and Black Panther? Dude is still gonna be talked about a hundred years from now. Legend.

Wow.

In a weird way, even though he was 42 and had been in the film business for 17 years, I still alway felt his career was just starting. Maybe it's because of 42 and Draft Day being what pushed him more into the spotlight and due to how young he looked (he was playing a believable college student while in his mid 30's), I often thought he had such a future ahead of him. Sad that both he and Kobe were so young. But both also made such an impact on people.

I was not expecting this. Man, it's gut wrenching to think that "Endgame" is now the last time that we saw both Stan Lee and Chadwick appear in the MCU.

My condolences goes out to all of his loved ones. Chadwick was not just an exceptional actor; he was also a very good man. His portrayal of T'Challa/Black Panther truly made an impact on a lot of people's lives.

He will be missed but never forgotten.
