Lounge of Justice - Part 90

I think WB should have moved this movie to March 2021. Captain Marvel was released in March and did well.

Problem is, we don't know exactly when Snyder's JL will be released. Could be as early as March or as late as November to coincide with the fourth anniversary. Delaying WW84 for that long wouldn't be a good business decision imo.

But couldn't the big studios just afford to sit on their movies as long as necessary? Because releasing any of their big films in theaters (or on VOD, for that matter) before a vaccine will simply not net them the same amount of money as a full-capacitiy theatrical run would.

Yeah but it did well on VOD, after it's purchase price was set at $10, BoP remained among top five VoD and rental movies in on iTunes and Amazon Prime for a month.

Yeah but that just won't cut it for blockbusters that will entirely be dependent on VOD sales.

Who would've guessed last year that the Snyder Cut would be released before WW84 and The Batman? Because its certainly looking that way... :o

I legitimately think that ZSJL will be the first superhero movie to come out since New Mutants. But yeah, last year I would have laughed you out of the room for suggesting such a thing lol.

glad he's doing well, but still feels like such a huge risk that they keep re-commencing filming on this.

I think movies that are still filming or haven't started filming which are currently scheduled for next year probably won't make their release dates (for instance, The Batman, MCU Spider-Man 3, Black Adam).

Definitely. The Black Adam producer said they're filming Q1 next year and it's rumored Spider-Man's start date has been delayed to around that time too, so no way either one makes a Christmas 2021 release date right now.

I could see WB keeping The Suicide Squad as a Summer movie and then pushing The Batman to Fall or even Christmas.

2020 possibly the worst year in a lot of our lives, and that Uncharted flick is still being filmed as we speak. More proof that God ain't real.

Happy friday:

who she?

i use to believe in jesus, but have developed into being agnostic since.
but the older i get, the more i'm starting to think there probably ain't a god out there.
or if there is a god, he or whatever it is, it does not give a sh** about us or any living being for that matter.

As a Christian I would encourage you to try and reconnect your relationship with Jesus because although you may have given up on him He hasn't given up on you. But that's up to you.

This is solid advice Chintai and goes for anyone. No one is perfect and Jesus never gives up on anyone. God isn’t making the world this way, we are. Jesus is a get out of jail free card, but once again, up to you.

My grandma used to tell me that, "Jesus is looking at me." whenever I was too lazy to do some tasks & spent my time napping in the afternoon sun. I asked her, "Where's he?" lol

As well as it can be given Covid's incessant pestering. :funny:

Same.

Didn't grow up in a Christian home, but did go to a private high school. First two years were terrible since we had to read the Bible. I almost failed the religion class so I had to stay after school with a tutor to read more of the ****ing Bible.

I preferred the Latin class because at least the fantasy (Greek mythos) was actually more fun to read.

The one thing they don't really tell you or my mistake for not really looking into it when buying a classic was, it will constantly break down for a lot of bs reasons. Perhaps, I'm the foolish one for making it a daily driver, tis the old dudes who keep them garaged in the right.

Eh, happy saturday.
