Vanilla Sky is a great movie.

I actually saw the original Spanish version, Alejandro Amenábar's 'Abre los ojos', aka Open Your Eyes in 1997 . Saw 'Vanilla Sky' as well, however IMO the Spanish version is vastly superior, even though the plots are essentially identical.

And yeah Penélope Cruz was in both films.

The gameplan is clear in that they want to discourage and scare people away from voting. Trump interrupting Biden 73 times is a pattern that will continue as they want people to turn off the TV. They don't want people paying attention as these tactics were effective in 2016. I hope Americans don't fall in this trap again.

As an outsider it feels a lot like 2016 but in a less volatile way. I remember hearing at the time about families and relationships being destroyed because of Trump and Hillary, I don't really hear that a lot this time. Now it still appears to be treated like the "bigger evil/lesser evil" thing, but what I hear the most is about two out of touch old men making fools out of themselves. People generally seem to mock and ridicule both rather than the outright hatred I saw last time. Biden does seem to be a more likeable candidate than Clinton was though.

Oof...hopefully we don't go from an extreme right president to an extreme left one. Hopefully, we can find and select people in the primaries that are moderate/center minded. AOC, who I'm sure has said how much she loved Ruth Bader Ginsburg, has recently said that Democrats should pack the supreme court, an idea RBG was ardently against.
