I've heard a lot of people hating on the Nolan Batman films lately, and it seems a lot are band-wagoners prompted by the anti-Nolan backlash. I know some people legitimately prefer the Burton films (such as Duke, and my little brother has always preferred the originals too), but I think others are just hating on the Nolan trilogy because it's trendy at the moment. They were all about the Nolan films just a few years ago. So what changed?

I love the first Burton Batman film, it's still my favorite, and Michael Keaton is the more enjoyable Batman in my view
But I prefer the Nolan ones to Batman Returns

I say Batman Begins is favorite....then TDKR, TDK and Batman (89) tied for me. I never liked Batman Returns...too Burtonized and not much character development. I think I even like Batman Forever more although haven't seen it in a long long while.
