Party train

Party train
never heard of it. what kind of role does she play in that series and what is it about?
Probably getting ahead of myself, but being that her series is on ABC and produced by ABC studios, I wonder if her ever making a guest appearance or two on SHIELD would be out of the question...
Getting it out the way, Van Camp is hot as a mofo.
Regarding her ability, she can do this. Watch Revenge on ABC, like a full episode. That's all you need to do.
She was terrific on Everwood. She has a lot of acting talent; Revenge was a rather unusual role for her at the time she was cast.I watched the first full season. She isn't exactly great, not that the writing is, but we will see.
I will say, though, she won't have to go through months and months of training. Emanda is a *very* physically challenging role.
Also, she looks the very picture of Sharon Carter.
But still, I'll be weeping in my corner over no Alison Brie in the MCU. Yet.
(maybe for Jan Van Dyne?)
I agree that Winstead is fancast for way too many roles, but she was fantastic in Smashed. Far from a mediocre talent, imo. If VanCamp has done anything approaching that level, I certainly haven't seen it.Still she is a decent actress and I like her better than the fanboy over-mentioned actress Mary Elizabeth Weinstead. An actress who is never going to break out because of her mediocre talent and screen presence. Yeah, yeah I'm sure she is a nice chick and all so this isn't a personal attack and it's not her fault she is fancast for every single role.
Emily VanCamp? Wow, it's like they looked at their list of candidates and thought, "nope, not boring enough." Oh well, maybe she'll surprise me.

No, I'm just saying, I wasn't a fan of Winstead either...until I saw that movie. I mean, I still find the constant fancasting annoying, especially for roles like Mary Jane and Wonder Woman, which I still think she's all wrong for, but I think she would have been a much better choice for Sharon Carter (if that's even the role this is) than Emily Van Camp.Eh I stopped watching her films because I hear how good she is and always walk away wondering what her fans are talking about. I think she is decent and that's it, I respect others who disagree though. I mean not everyone is a fan of any actor. That post wasn't even a defense of Van Camp though because I can see her not being great in the film, she's not amazing either.

I'd definitely recommend it, and not just because of Winstead. Aaron Paul and Nick Offerman are great too (they were the main draw for me initially), and it's a very honest look at the part of alcoholism that they usually leave out of these types of stories - the part where, after you get sober, you find yourself as a new person stuck in the old life you made for yourself. I didn't find it too heavy or depressing to be entertaining, either.I'll have to give the movie a look then.
But I think she would have been a much better choice for Sharon Carter (if that's even the role this is) than Emily Van Camp.
Yeah, she's already part of the Disney/Marvel family. Synergy!Marvel must have chosen her for a reason.
Obviously I disagree, but to each their own.I honestly can't see how MEW is a better choice. Visually speaking Emily is perfect for Sharon and I wouldn't say either has significantly more talent than the other.
