Lucifer Lucifer General Discussion

Good news. Both shows should be more-or-less locked for a renewal given the status of FOX.

Very nice.

Haven't watched season 2 yet but 8 episodes into season 1 and I love it. Tom Ellis is awesome and so is Lauren German. Love the show. :D

Last night's episode was absolutely fantastic.

Maze and Trixie trick-or-treating, Lucifer punching detective *****e, Linda's reaction to seeing Lucifer's true face, Lucifer playing Metallica on the piano... all of it.

I think this season of Lucifer is better than any of the other current seasons of comic book shows.

All I need is that moment of truth for Chloe. I really hope it comes soon.

I don't think the moment of truth for Chloe is coming this season. They had him out himself to the therapist to avoid having to do that. I also think they've laid off a bit on the relationship between her and Lucifer to make it less glaringly obvious how they're stringing their audience along. They'll stall it as long as possible.

In fact I can see Lucifer telling Linda having catastrophic consequences so as to act as a warning example.

I don't know, I think it'll be revealed to her in the midseason finale. Then we'll have to wait until the spring premiere for the fallout.

I started the episode thread since nobody else did it. I don't really like to be the first to reply to it.

The most recent episode was hilarious. There were almost too many funny moments to mention:

- "I'm going to learn how to *****e."

- Dansformation

- Dan #1

- "I want you to teach me how to be a tool."

- "Your boring clothes are like average man camouflage."

- "Maybe we blend in so well that he can't see us."

Oh, and I'm pleased Linda is giving Maze a chance. It would be so weird to go out for drinks with a demon, though.

The one thing I didn't like was the way the Russian guy admitted so readily to Chloe about why her dad was killed. There was no reason for him to do that.

Charles Halford been making the rounds of DC/Vertigo Shows.

Chaz on CONSTANTINE.

JEMM on SUPERGIRL.

BORIS on LUCIFER.

A thought just occurred to me; what if Ella is God? El means "god" in Hebrew and Mom/Charlotte has been complaining that she reached out to God and he wasn't there. What if he's not there because he's on Earth?

that was one of my fave episodes of the show so far

Calling Dan Detective *****e never gets old.

Also, is it me or does Lauren German always seem to have brown bags under her eyes...lt's almost like black eyes or if she was really tired.

The makeup they put on her does her no favors.

ive noticed that too. i was wondering if there was a reason for it, but there doesn't seem to be

Season 2 schedule seems to be confirmed.

Season 2

24. 2-11 16 Jan 17 Stewardess Interruptus
25. 2-12 23 Jan 17 Love Handles
26. 2-13 30 Jan 17 A Good Day to Die

27. 2-14 01 May 17 Candy Morningstar
28. 2-15 08 May 17 Deceptive Little Parasite
29. 2-16 15 May 17 God Johnson

(One would assume the show will keep going after 15 May. It's a bit weird that Lucifer returns one week after Gotham, though.)

Lucifer explaining things to Dan was just great.

really enjoyed this episode more than i thought i would.
Maze is one of my favorite characters.

Does anyone read, or have read the graphic novels? i'm in the 60's issue-wise, and i know the show and the books don't have that much in common, but they're kinda alike.

Amenadiel in the Show is basically Michael from the books. I'm guessing Charlotte is closest to Lillith right? but she was mother of Maze and the other demons in the books, so not really. but she was a key player in the books so i dunno.
Is Chloe kinda supposed to be Elaine Belloc-like?

i guess i shouldn't really compare the two of these at all

i agreed with you Kathemy, but i preferred the ending

That scene at the party was amusing. Why on earth didn't Lucifer and Chloe just storm the place, shut the party down and demand to know where Ashley was? They were acting as though they were undercover.

i think they were trying to be undercover. if they shut the party down, ashley could've run.

you've never been to a party where cops show up? people run. underage drinking, drug use and whatnot are usually going on, especially at college parties.

So shout that you're the police and you need to find Ashley Corbett because her life is in danger. They knew she'd been poisoned so it didn't make sense that they spent so much time dicking around looking for her.
