Supergirl Lynda Carter confirmed for season 2!

So the OG Wonder Woman is cast as the President in season 2. All I gotta say is, I'd vote for her

I hope that Carter is playing "President Diana Prince" and that it's strongly inferred that she was once the superhero known as "Wonder Woman" who was active during WWII (before assuming her secret identity on a full-time basis, allowing herself to slowly age and deciding to help the world through other means, including politics / diplomacy).

Superman was the only publicly known hero on "Earth-S" prior to Kara's emergence as Supergirl, so what you want isn't possible.

Yeah, I think they could definitely have her use the first name Diana paying homage to the Wonder Woman show....that would be cool.

Not a big fan of having her be playing Wonder Woman, or naming her in such a way that she will be confused for reprising her 1970s role. She's awesome, let her be awesome as a new character. I could make an exception if she's playing another canon named Diana, like Diana Rockwell. That'd be interesting to say the least.

Or perhaps a Jean. Because Lynda Carter's real name is Lynda Jean Cordoba. And get this...by the time she is filming her shows, she will have turned 65 (July 24th). If you ask me she might be the best looking 65 year old woman on the planet (she must be part Amazon). And I hope Lynda has fun on the set. It can be quite the party with the jokes, singing and yes the donuts. What would be wild would be for Lynda to bring something from her WW collection at her home in Maryland with her...namely the bracelets. But what would really make me happy...a pic of Melissa and Lynda just goofing off behind the scenes. TV's Supergirl and Wonder Woman...now that's a power couple!

Or maybe she could be President Donna Troy - Wonder Woman's magical mirror clone sister who somehow ended up on a parallel Earth? Whatever her character's name is, I'm just going to pretend that she's Diana Prince anyway.
