Maybe? I guess we will see. If anything, this will force EA to stop making bad decisions.Original, standalone story set in Indy's peak career.

Now thatLucasArtsLucasfilm Games are back, I wonder if they're open to licensing the Star Wars IP to other developers once EA's time is done. I still hope for the day Obsidian gets theirs hands on the IP again.

I loved Emperor's Tomb. A lot like their first Buffy game, it was a pretty underrated gem imo.The last non-Lego Indy game I played was the lesser known Infernal Machine for N64. Never got around to playing Emperor's Tomb. It only just dawned on me today that there hasn't been a true Indy game in almost two decades but I suppose the Uncharted series kind of scratched that itch, albeit in a modern setting. Still, I'd be down for another Indy adventure, especially if it can take us to the less-explored early 1940s WWII era that Crystal Skull only alluded to.
Me and my mate (an even bigger Indy fan than me) have been complaining about the lack of a genre-leading Indiana Jones game for decades. I have no idea why those in charge couldn't see how popular this could have been. Look at the success Uncharted and Tomb Raider got with no name behind them and then think what a TR1 or UC2 level intro game along with one of the best ever movie characters and associated film lore could have achieved. The last non-Lego Indy game I played was the lesser known Infernal Machine for N64. There was actually an Indy game in the works that was suppose to come out in 2008 or 2009 that was cancelled unfortunatelyMe and my mate (an even bigger Indy fan than me) have been complaining about the lack of a genre-leading Indiana Jones game for decades. That was more of a tech demo. Basically they were coming up with an idea, but a lot like The Force Unleashed which actually came out, it wasn't exactly a fully realized idea. There was actually an Indy game in the works that was suppose to come out in 2008 or 2009 that was cancelled unfortunately
There’s footage in YouTube and it looked like it would have been a fun game
Could be worse... Could be CDProjektRed or BioWare.Poor thread title. Machine Games are the ones actually making it. Title makes it sound like it's the Bethesda studio. No one wants that.
They know a little something about punching Nazis and making great games. I am going to assume this game is third person, so that will be a bit of a change for them, but they know how to make a proper game.
Someone has clearly not played either of the last two Fallouts.Could be worse... Could be CDProjektRed or BioWare.![]()

I really hope it’s third person. You have to when you’re bringing one of the best movie characters in - people are going to want to actually see Indy (peak Ford Indy).Poor thread title. I'm in the minority who thinks Obsidian's KotOR was actually better than BioWare's, on the narrative side at least (deconstruction of the SWEU vs classic hero's journey). And while it won't fix the rushed ending, the Restoration Project adds a lot of the cut content and fixes many bugs.Maybe? I guess we will see. If anything, this will force EA to stop making bad decisions.
As to Obsidian. You want them to make another rushed, inferior sequel, that is so buggy, it would make Bethesda blush?![]()
No word yet if this game will be a Microsoft exclusive. Might just be a timed exclusiveThis is going to be a series X's eXclusive?
I would like to play an Indy game.
