Peter doesn't die..future Hiro visited him remember. Said Peter has a scar on his face. That prolly happens.

Right. Future Hiro said that Peter looked different without his scar, meaning that Hiro only met Peter AFTER he was scared, most likely from his fight with Sylar. I'll venture to say that Hiro won't even show up in the "Homecoming" episode (considering how he traveled back in time six months to save the waitress Charlie in "Seven Minutes to Midnight") and that he returns to the present at the end of the "Six Months Ago" episode. If Peter dies in this episode and he's next to Claire, his mimicing powers will obviously restore him. However, considering he is a mimic, the powers he'll mimic won't be as good as the original ability he's trying to mimic, which is how he'll still have some sort of facial scar.

I think the cheerleader who took credit for saving those guys lives was in the newspaper. Sylars house was full of news clippings about different people and strange events so he will go looking for her. Since she's with claire he will sense power but think it's her's and kill her. I paused the promo and looked at a few images. When claire is thrown against the wall it seems like sylar is throwing her out of the way,so he can get to the other girl.

That's pretty much what I think happens as well (which explains the painting of the dead cheerleader whom everyone thought was Claire but is actually the other girl) and that when Claire escapes, Peter will then show up (the shadow of the man in the painting who seems to be chasing Claire is, if you look at the previews, is actually Peter trying to protect her from Sylar).

It could one of his methods of finding these supers. Like Mr. Glass from Unbreakable.

He wouldn't need the newspapers. He knew Dr. Suresh, and the good Doctor had a map pinpointing the locations of every Hero we know. After he killed Suresh, it's quite possible, even probable, that he went into his apartment and took all the information regarding the heroes. Looking at the picture of the "Hero map" from Episode 10, it includes, not only a picture of the girl from the Diner, but a picture of Claire as well.

though it's unlikely peter probably could die, by hiro coming back to talk to peter means that the future needs to be changed, changed being the key word, my guess is that it will be a cliffhanger of peter either dead or dying and the next episode will have him using claire's powers to come back.

well that other cheerleader does die because the mimicing guy is going to be protecting her from Sylar, and Sylar is going to think it is her, then once he kills her and realizes its not he's going to go after Claire.

I think the thing was that Hiro and Ando werent supposed to make it there in time.

The moment between Peter and Claire was really sweet.

The map Sylar had in his apartment clearly had more heroes marked on it than Dr. Suresh's did. Mohinder said as much when he saw it.

Not sure what map you saw or how you saw episode 10, which airs next week But it was made clear during tonight's episode that Sylar was going by the newspaper displaying Jackie has the hero.
