A major character is going to die before the season ends. And Hiro (Masi Oka) will not be with the rest of the group when the show starts up again next fall. (But, you know, I probably wouldn't put those two sentences together if Masi were the death. I'm just sayin'!)

From Fran: I heard Christopher Eccleston is joining Heroes. Do you know anything about his character?
Actually, yes! Last week, Masi told us that the onetime Dr. Who is going be a mentor type for Peter. He actually even called him "Peter's Yoda!" I'm assuming Christopher has powers of his own, and, as I mentioned before, I'm fairly certain he is a new Hero and his power is invisibility. Sources tell me the invisible man is the new Hero.

From Georgia: What is up with Claire? Is she not going to remember what happened to her?
She is going to remember, but she is going to be pretending to her father (H.R.G.) that she does not remember, and he is going to believe her. Turns out Miss Claire is quite the actress! Oh, and by the by, I found out who is bankrolling H.R.G. Turns out it is someone who is directly related to one of our favorite Heroes—someone we know! (If you think on this one—and comment among yourselves below—you can figure it out, I pinkie swear.)

It makes sense. How else would HRG know that Nathan was in Vegas? How else would HRG just waltz into a secure suite, with cameras, of a major crimelord's hotel and kidnap Nathan? especially when said major crime lord has a vested interest in him?

Hiro is obviously going into the past in/around the finale and he won't be back in the Season 2 premiere

at least, that's what i see when i read between the lines

HRG's involvement with Linderman has already been confirmed in a previous episode I think. They are talking about somebody else. Here are candidates:

Mohinders father, Chandra Suresh - he made the list, as far as we know. Maybe that's why HRG says 'Together we can change the world' to Mohinder in the PREVIEW. Maybe Mohinders willingness to follow his dads footsteps will serve as a medium for HRG to continue the Suresh agenda and find more 'special people'. It will also add a dimension to Mohinders storyline.

Future Hiro - knowing HRG has made no attempt to capture Hiro, it could be likely Future Hiro is the mysterious superior.

The Haitian - it can be a long shot, but since his name is a mystery, could it MAYBE be that the Haitian actually IS Linderman?

Simone - Has a connection with Linderman

Audry the FBI agent who works with Parkman.

As far as who will be killed, here are the most likely ones:

1. Isaac Mendez - He was seen dead in episode 2 when Hiro went to the future. Just when he discovered he can use his ability without destroying himself, he becomes a danger to whomever triggers the NYC explosion. I think in retrospect of that he is the most likely to die.

2. Matt Parkman - He is now on HRG's back, and I think his confrontation with HRG will determine wether HRG is evil or good. He'll also have a run-in with Niki Sanders/Jessica.

3. D.L. Hawkins - I think Micah will persuade DL to free Niki...and it might be in vain for him, despite his ability.

Here is another speculation.

Peter wants Nathan to embrace his powers. Maybe the recovery of Nathans wife will be the key to Nathans direction in the story.

Looks like all three of my guesses of who will die are written off. That leaves Niki as a good candidate, since people told us a female character will be written off.

I guess I was wrong.

there are two lists: Suresh's and HRG's. remember, HRG has been at this for at least 14 years.

highly unlikely. Linderman is a familiar figure to the Petrelli's since their father was associated with him. Nathan would have recognized him.
