World Make a better Reeve Superman Collection cover

^ Although I love that they've chosen an original piece of artwork from Superman: The Movie for the cover of the Donner cut.

Check these out; they aren't for Superman "per se", but they are related, since "Smallville" is a pseudo-prequel to the films...

Why doesnt someone just use the posters as DVD cover arts? IMO the origial theatrical posters would be so much better!

The practice of using theatrical posters fo front panels is widely overdone. Most cover artists, including myself, more often than not use an image that is recognizable, but might not be one fans immediately remember. It helps separate our work from the bulk of the rest.

The paintings were done by a user on these boards called Supersebas.

wow

seriously these manips by superseabas are frickking awesome ,

WB should be paying superseabas to bloody make thier images!

the guy is a genius!

look at the pics! awesome!

Allow me to clarify the above statement: Supersebas did the original poses, but I did the color alterations, backgrounds, titles, and overall composition. I did grant him credit on the covers for his contributions, though, as I do sincerely appreciate his work.
