That Kitty G thing was also in Boondock Saint. But when a bunch of people are in a room and there's an emergency and no one does anything, its called the Diffusion of Responsibility. Apparently the larger the crowd, the less likely someone will do somethng. I have my psych exam in 4 hours. Maybe I'm not f'd after all.

i'd never ride a subway by myself, heck i never plan on getting on one period.

anyone remember that incident in new york ( a few years back I think), where the woman was being raped on the subway and no one did anything. they sat/stood in the subway car until it stopped while the woman was being raped and NO ONE did a thing.

i hope they still feel the guilt. that's abhorable.

I don't remember hearing that story. But a few years ago a pregnant woman fell onto the tracks, and was struggling to climb back onto the platform while people just stared at her. Finally one guy ran over and helped her.

I remember hearing about the Kitty Genovese case, in my psych class i think.

i cant imagine. 38 people heard her. the killer had to come back 3 times to do the job and NO ONE helped her.

i wonder how they lived with that guilt

How do you know they felt any guilt?

Heh, you're right. You used to be able to bait me into an argument at the drop of a hat. I hope you can look back on those days in joy. I've changed, and I've realized that nothing anyone says on here is worth ****. How I managed to fail to realize that in years before saddens me.
