Yeah that would rock. I still hold out hope for a film or a trilogy of films but a TV series would be awesome. They'd just need to put it on a network that would give bigger funding than a CW show (that's not a knock on CW shows btw I love Arrow and Supernatural).

Don't get me wrong, I'd love a movie based on that also, I just think a TV series of sorts whether animated or live action is more feasible. And it's not a knock against CW. I don't mind a bit of Supernatural myself. (God I miss Smallville :sheds tearThe missus loves her 90210 lol

Oh yeah I agree on that think we'd be more likely for an animation than anything else, at least for now. I just think if people really take to the Krypton portions of the films and shops sell out of Jor El action figures they may consider the film franchise.

I'm big into languages and I'm curious to see whether someone has actually gone to a great deal of effort to create Kryptonian or whether they've just created a bunch of random shapes.

Hey jmc, I have something to show you remember the DSRW text from a couple months back? Well I think I've finally reverse-translated it and thus I THINK I've unlocked the Kryptonian language!!

It's a freaking abjad!!!!

If I assume that the "flipping" of the letters follows the vowel arrangement, and furthermore that a is in fact the most common vowel based on the House names, I think I may be able to find the corresponding translation!!!!!! The vowels must follow the appropriately flipped consonants, so I must assume that the "regular" consonant glyph is either unmodified or as in the "a-position. The notches in the brackets must then indicate either a modified or unmodified consonant glyph. I'm assuming the small notches indicate an unmodified consonant and the large "swoops" indicate a final letter. Both the first and third words have a small notch above the first vowel glyphs, so they must have an inherent a unless otherwise indicated.

Therefore:

Mati s'den garon nexo.
(You alone are not.)
