^ This, Oblivion, After Earth... Sadly, even Star Trek Into Darkness and Iron Man 3. Is it me or... Are all these movies started to look, sound and feel the same?

zombies on a plane is a fantastic idea. surviving a zombie attack on a plane is impossible even in a hollywood movie. no way

Brad Pitt looks good for a man turning 50 this year

Wow, they even managed to fit 'a badguy in the jail but actually in control' cliche in there too. I'm impressed.

Those Zombies took down a Helicopter. A freaking Helicopter.

the survival guide didn't say anything about these uber zombies.

The people flying out of the plane have nothing to worry about. Iron Man will save them.

honestly this film just looks bland and generic not really excited at all

I'm sure Pitt will give it his all as he usually does, but we'll see how the flick itself plays out.

This looks like they're turning the docudrama style of the book into a generic action flick that has little to do with its source material.

Also, the zombies are too fast and look too CGI.

What, they can't have real extras instead of a bunch of fake looking CGI people?

Fake cgi zombies always turn me off, do it practical or not at all.

God it honestly looks so terrible. If I was Max Brooks I'd be so pissed. Then I'd quell my anger in a bathtub full of money.

They've done a horrible job conveying that this is a zombie movie. It's not even like they're trying to build up anticipation, it seems like they were so afraid that this might be R-rated that they opted for a crowd of Black Friday shoppers instead of actual zombies.

I think it looks pretty decent. I love the ideas of the zombies being really fast and doing anything they can to take out people. I love how epic in scale the story is looking. It sounds like they're trying to adapt the book by having Brad Pitt going all around the world talking to people about their situation so thats a pretty good idea how to adapt a book that is basically impossible to adapt closely. Looks very intense my problem though is the awful awful cg. The helicopters look awful, the zombies look awful. Just anything cg in this looks awful. There isn't much time left and suffice to say none of this is going to get much better.

Eh, it's a summer blockbuster. We'll all be there even if we say we won't.

You'll be there. Someone will drag you to it. As nerds, we always have family or friends that have an innate love of questionable entertainment.

Pretty pathetic that a big Hollywood summer movie with Brad Pitt is inferior to a modest-budget TV show on AMC. Seriously, The Walking Dead mops the floor with this crap.

And after reading the book, I'm baffled as to why this movie is called World War Z.

I completely disagree. I find The Walking Dead to be just awful. Stupid, horribly written character, barely any story and some pretty awful acting
