Damn, poor fella's been tasked with rising a bunch of books from the grave, man. Oh, well, guess you have to start somewhere in the Big Two.

Aaron's only doing the Secret Invasion arc of Black Panther, Hudlin will return to the book afterwards and it will get cancelled afterwards. At the rate it is losing readers it cannot last much longer. Hudlin's Black Panther is just bad.

Some could argue having a BP book last this long has been a feat.

But, yeah, I haven't touched it with a 10 foot pole.

All true, and I probably would be the first one to rip Survivor (I proudly exclaim that I have never watched a single episode...)

I guess I'm being a little acerbic about it, but when people start the whole "unwashed masses" thing, I mean, who of us doesn't have their guilty pleasures?

The thing about a guilty pleasure is you're guilty about it. Like I keep buying Gen13 but I acknowledge that this is probably poor judgment on my part. Something being in the top 10 month after month indicates that a whole lot of people aren't particularly guilty about a pleasure they probably should be guilty about.

I actually don't much go in for the "lots of people like reading ****" because there's too many counfounding variables. People read what they see advertised or hyped or what they've heard of or has a character they're familiar with or they've collected for 30 years without a break. It's always been my impression (unless I'm just completely blind to it, which is also a possibility) that Marvel and DC sort of just don't make much of an effort to promote anything original or off-standard stuff so how many non-message board readers even hear about Runaways or Iron Fist or whatever thing to be able to know they're supposed to go buy them?

So yeah I mean a lot of people buy ****, sure. But hey a lot of people eat at McDonalds, it's not their fault they live four states away from anyplace with an In'n'Out Burger.

Exiles died the moment Morph did for me.

There should be a general superteam "Don't **** with the loveable shapeshifter" rule.
