The Dark Knight Mark Hamill ‘Can’t Wait’ To See Heath Ledger As Joker

I know your angry El Payaso, but sometimes the best way to keep a thread hate free is to ignore the hateful comments. It may not be the most personally satisfying thing, but it's probably the best way to go about it.

The best way is to prevent gratuitous flaming. And then to report it.

True, but responding to them will only start a flame war. It won't really prevent them from flaming.

I do think El Payaso's right however, we don't need to compare what Nicholson said to what Hammil said, I think that subject has been exhausted enough already.

Any ways, I do really admire how positive Hammil is about this whole thing. Every interveiw I see him in he always comes off as a nice guy. It would definitely be nice to see him in another Batman animated movie.

Next from MTV.com: Cesar Romero's feelings about Heath's Joker from BEYOND THE GRAVE!!!

But kudos to Hamill for being tactful and excited about a new take, unlike some other former Batman actors...

Hmm, what other former Joker's can MTV dig up (no pun to Caesar) to get their comments...

Not for the forseeable future... Timm had the opportunity to bring him back in this february's 'JL: New Frontier' but decided against it...

He and Andrea Romano chose an actor called Jeremy Sisto...

A reunion for Hamill and Conroy seems highly unlikely.
the joker isn't in DC: New Frontier Graphic Novel, why would he be in the Movie?

No, but Batman is which is why i was referencing Kevin Conroy.

I also mean, generally speaking about Conroy and Hamill, a reunion anytime soon (on whatever project - aka not 'new frontier') seems unlikely.

plus they might not bring conroy back after JL:NF considering that "other" dc guy is cast by wholly new people!!

Who's the other guy... Rino Romano?

If so... Andrea Romano (voice director) cast Kevin Conroy and is currently working with both Rino Romano and Jeremy Sisto as Batman on the respected shows.

Kickass interview. It great to see the best Joker there ever was is excited about TDK & support it. I hope he get to see what he thought of Ledger's Joker once TDK come out. :)

I imagine that Hamill can't wait to see Ledger's Joker in the same way that I can't wait to see my girlfriend try to reach for the wok on top of the cupboards.

Yes regwec you hate Ledger's Joker we get this, have for a long time lol.

Some people out there are actually excited to. And so what if Mark Hamil is excited, he sounds like and very well may be to see a new interpertation of the Joker.

I'm not really attempting to be volatile for its own sake. I do think that Hamill probably feels quite comfortable on his laurels, however.

You know, when I read your posts the voice of Hugh Laurie from House automatically pops into my head.

He should have been the Joker in the cameo on "Birds of Prey". If anything, that probably would have helped garner attention for the show. Yes, I know he provided the voice for that scene, but it would have been much better if he played the live action version of the character in that scene too.

I know you claimed you weren't trying to be volatile, but come on, man. It wasn't like the guy was asked and then gave a politically correct answer of "excited...blah, blah...different interpretation...blah, blah." He wrote in to give his opinion, and has zero reason to misrepresent himself in any way. There is no reason to attribute any nasty "wanting to see Heath struggle" motivations to something that seemed to most a nice gesture of support from one Joker to another. That's terribly cynical if you ask me. Not that I disagree that he is (and should be) comfortable in the knowledge of what he created.

Cool! Hamill is always a class act.

Mark Hamill is one of the coolest and most down-to-earth guys on the planet, and this just proves it even more.
