I talked to MSJ (on these boards) about 2 weeks ago, and he told me to expect a new GR trailer soon....

He told me to keep checkin' on the official site every now and then. He said he's hoping they'll let him slip a couple of cool things on the site for us.

So sportsfans, get ready, as it won't be long for the new trailer.:ghost::ghost::up:

the teaser was the loudest "OUUWWCH!" i ever heard from an audience when nics neck snapped in the bike scene...lol

I hope the new trailer has some of the seens that we saw in the movie's video blog, you know the one at comic con with the clip at the beginning with Ghost Rider throwing a fire ball, those seens but extended a little. :ghost: :ghost: :ghost: :ghost: :ghost:

I was just thiking.....what if the new trailer for GR is with Gridiron Gang on September 15th?!

That'd be almost 5 months before release...perfect time for a new trailer. Or perhaps it can be with Saw III or The Prestige in October. MAYBE....well get both a new GR trailer ANd a new Spidey 3 trailer with Casino Royale on Nov. 17th.....I asked MSJ on the official blog about the new trailer. Hopefully he answers some more questions soon...

I just wanted to say thanks for both the kind words and the criticisms on the new trailer. It all goes towards making a better movie. There's a couple things I thought I'd mention that might help explain what you're seeing. First, the TRANSFORMATION. Ghost Rider is a PG-13 movie, albeit, a very intense PG-13 movie. The MPAA governs the movie trailers as well. And one of the rules is that you can't show people on fire in a PG-13 trailer. Obviously, this presents a problem for us. So for the fans who have wondered if that's all there is for the transformation -- God no. Not by a long shot. But that's all we can show. In fact, we had to cut many shots out of the trailer for being too intense or horrific. I'm hoping to post something on the official site on a blog in the next 24 hours so be sure to check there. Just make sure you download before it gets yanked off. Second, the VOICE. The voice of Ghost Rider can't be judged on an internet trailer. There are multiple tracks of animal growls, fire, rusty chains, etc. mixed into Ghost Rider's voice. But all of those tracks have to be terribly condensed into a trailer like this and so all you can really hear is a deep, raspy voice. Trust me, GR's voice will rock the movie house. Third, the HUMOR. Ghost Rider is not a jokey movie. It just has humor to balance the intensity (some of which you can't see in the trailer for reasons stated above). Remember that to us Ghost Rider is a known character. But to the general public he is very dark and intimidating. The marketing team are just (wisely) trying to reach as broad an audience as they can and move beyond the core group. Fourth, BLACKHEART. What you've seen in Mephisto and Blackheart are glimpes into their demons forms. But by the end of the film Blackheart will evolve into his BEAST form. You haven't seen that yet, I'm saving it. It's not exactly the comic, but it's closer, demonic, and spikey! Fifth, the POSTER. There will be multiple images to sell the movie. Some will be about the love story, the Beauty & The Beast, while others will be hardcore Skull shots. Keep an eye out for new images soon. Hope that helps. I'll check in again soon.

It was posted in the trailer thread already.^

That was like yesterday.

MSJ is 100% right. I trust him becasue i do know that MPAA are indeed very strict when it comes to showing trailers and stuff especially horror movies and intense movies like this.

Everyone keep an eye out for the new trailer he mentioned on the ghost rider blog. Make sure you can upload it on youtube and various other sites before it gets yanked out so that we all MARVEL fans get a chance to see it.

Looking forward to GR. I am sure tha action will rock even if the sfx is fake and acting sucks.

lol.

I like how you make stupid comments about a movie that isn't even finished yet.

We've had what, three trailers now? Two official ones. Like you can tell that much from that.

They have like four more months. Give it time.

Well seeing how theres a new clip coming today that can get pulled off this gets more peoples attention

Wow, the guy was really paying attention to the feedback. I´m pleased with most of the answers, except what bothered me in the humor was not so much that there was humor, but that it was not really funny. If you feel you have to put comic relief in a dark movie, make it worth it, not just to lighten up the mood. I´m okay with Bruce Wayne saying a guy dressed up like a bat has issues in the BB trailer cuz that was actually a witty idea. To me the fat girl, for instance, was just irritating. Okay, the skull on fire thing was kinda neat.

Maybe they're saving the really funny stuff for the movie?

^^^We all love MSJ.

He's so awesome!
