Okay, some people are extremley hateful to him because they thought Ghost Rider was a bad movie.
I'll say that I'm pissed that he wanted to go for a light, corny film when that's not what Ghost Rider is. Though I did love the movie, it was dissapointing.
So instead of the constant hate for MSJ, why not make nice comments about the guy?
I mean look, here are some of the things I really respect and like about him and what he did with Ghost Rider:
1. He came here and talked to us (the fans) and gave us alot of cool goodies. He put some of the transformation on the web in October.
2. He did really well with taking his time with the movie (he didn't just make it in a couple years) and did alot of things well in the film.
3. He's a positive guy and seems to have had alot of fun making the film.
4. He invited THREE Hype members to the Ghost Rider premiere just because he knew those three liked Ghost Rider alot and they have been here at the Hype for years supporting it.
5. For his second action movie (?), you must admit he did pretty well. I mean, it's no masterpiece, but still. If this were Sam Raimi directing this and it turned out like it did I'd be extremley pissed. Mark did pretty well. He just needs some work with what the comics are made out of.
6. He didn't get discouraged when people bashed the film before and after it came out. He held up well, gotta give him credit for that.
7. He was damn excited about his work, he was proud of it according to him. I believe his only complaint was is that he wanted more action and a better final battle. But since the CGI fire is hard and requires alot of money to keep paying the team, it wasn't able to work out well. Of course I think he should know about where to spend money (not $100,000 on a fake tree). But like I said earlier, he's not a big time director yet. Surley he'll only get better.
Now I can go on, but I bet you're tired of reading now lol. But please, don't bring negative comments in the thread. I haven't seen him even post around here latley sadly. Wonder if he hates us now.
So even if you hated Ghost Rider and what MSJ did to it, surley you can think of some good things about him or the film. And if you liked Ghost Rider, or like me, thought it could be better but you still liked it, say something nice.
If he comes back for a Ghost Rider sequel like he said he would like to happen, I think if he really thinks more about it and corrects mistakes from the first film, it could be a damn good movie. Stop with all the "MSJ STAY AWAY FROM MARVEL" comments.
