Marlon Wayans still getting paid for NOT appearing in Batman Returns

This has nothing to do with race. Harvey Dent is a white male, Robin is a white male don't cast black actors to play white people. Kingpin a white guy, who plays him Michael Clark...enough said, it's stupid.

I'm completely with you on this one.

I was just personally complaining as I once suggested I disliked a race change for certain character and mods were all over me threatening with bannings and such for the mere fact of having said the word 'black.'

Well race does matter to some extint. Not being racists myself but an asian for example playing Batman/Bruce Wayne. No thanks. But a black guy playing him is better.

Also Micheal Clark Duncan was great as Kingpin/Carlton Fisk. He was one of the bright spots in Daredevil.

But race overall does not matter. I beleive Wayans could of been good as Robin, and also Billy Dee as Two-Face. Also their could be a actor who is black who plays Joker. He could kill the role. Just give people a chance man this is america. Land of oppurtunity.

Why is robin portrayed as white why is two face in the first place? because when they were created you couldn't portray your heroes as anything but white. For all we know the creators of many of the characters of that era may have wanted to create heroes of diverse backgrounds but they were not allowed too. Waynes would have been a terrible Robin IMO. Going with the whole mechanic story anyways. (Which now I remember Alfred talking about a little)

Batman Returns IS in the same universe even though it's not a direct sequel. You don't mention people that you use to date if they were in another universe...though it might explain the break up.

If you say a black man could play Bruce or the Joker then why not an asian? I'm seriously just curious on your thoughts here Scarcrow.

Is it the accent? Cause many asians have american accents, like Jim Lee.

I'm not FOR changing the race of comic characters, but I certainly don't mind it if it works better.

I think white with Batman gives him his look though with cowl. Needless to say my only qualm with a black bats. But that's all visualy and nothing to do with acting abilities so...

No Returns he was casted in. Returns was originally gonna have Two-Face in the movie too getting scared in the face by Catwomen. Would of went the comic book route and just have him get scared by Sal Maroni. Also Billy Dee Williams would of been a great Two-Face. Loved him as Harvey Dent in Batman 89

Actually they do. Jackie Chan looks extremely silly. Hell even Bruce Lee a little too with the noises he would make. Besides its more to Batman then just acting tough and mean.

I just do not think they would pull it off. They would just look goofy. But Joker they could play.

Hey I would not mind personally seeing an asian guy playing Batman. But can he be a good one is the question. I wouldl ike to see actors get a shot at being comic book characters and not have their race hold them back. I think Will Smith could be a great Captain America.
