Marvel Comics Solicitations For May 2007

I would actually say drawing Iron Fist like that IS wrong. Horribly wrong. Bendis writing Runaways wrong.

:wow:

i thought the whole board was pretty much in agreement that aja was the ****.

who would you prefer drawing iron fist?

So I'm guessing Aja is some form of absolutely correct person?

And Iron Fist is in love with Dread and hates Darth.:o
The new costume is still ugly, though.
But since apparently Aja is always right they should give him Dr. Strange and update his look. You know, something more modern and functional.:whatever:

Hilarious! I mena, its not like the new suit is bad. Its just ****ing generic. The whole point of the open chest collar thing was harkened back to the old kung fu movies of the past. Unlike Luke Cage's street clothes, nothing like that has changed. And furthermore, whats the point of having a gangsta ass tatttoo on your chest, if you're not going to show it.

What the hell is your problem? All I said was Aja and Brubaker thought Iron Fist needed an upgrade for his suit. Before you start saying things for no reason, let me just clarify something for you. If you read the DC Cut for Immortal Iron Fist, you'd understand that the suit Iron Fist has may not be his new suit. Just a different verison he'd wear from time to time. The extras shown clearly point out Iron Fist wearing for versions for his suit. If you want to take what I said in a way that makes you come off like an ass, then go ahead. But i'll provide proof of what I'm talking about first.

This is the design page for the suit variations, with Aja's comments about what I was talking about.

That enough for you? The original suit may still be there, but with the ninja boots instead. A little change can never hurt, so I don't see what's the big deal.

It's not a tattoo, it's a scar. And if there's a reason for Danny wearing the symbol of the dragon on his suit, it's in honor of the past Iron Fists who wore it on like that. Again, the DC Cut states everything in a clear manner, buy it yourself to see. It explains why the eye shape on the Iron Fist mask is like that, why the symbol of the scar is on the suit and etc. It's that simple.

I like the upgrade a lot more than the open chest. Ugh. Not knocking the open chest, why would I? Just feels dated, is all.

I like both ofcourse, and the upgrade is fine by me.

Its a tattoo, or if you want to get technical, a brand. And again, whats the point of having said "tattoo" and then wearing it on my shirt?

A brand is the way to put it. Because Danny says, "My felsh marked as his own" when his chest touched the burning dragon.

Either way, its always referred as a tattoo. I mean its black, a scar or brand isnt black.

But i still say "tattoo" isn't the right term to use. It's not like Danny had the symbol inked on him. It was burnt to his chest, cause the dragon had the same mark on it's skin. I think to make it clear that Danny is an Iron Fist, he had to prove it by burning the symbol to his chest, and then defeating the dragon, and then gaining the Iron Fist power.

Judging by how it's magic in origin, I don't see how it couldn't be a tattoo. O.o

It's true. It's scientifically impossible to hate an 11 year old girl who throws Wolverine out of windows.

Being the Goddess of Science, I'm pretty sure I can dispel that myth.

It's perfectly within the bounds of natural law to hate both Molly and Wolverine.
