I thought that they were possibly going to cancel Legacy and not reboot it. Kinda surprised by this.

More Hollywood types coming in at Marvel to write...? I was just ranting about that yesterday.....

Are you joking, or do you not know who Brian Posehn is? Because he's anything but a Hollywood type. He's a scruffy comedian that talks mostly about weed, Star Trek, and *********ion.

Has Brian Posehn written comics before. He's a funny guy, I'm just worried that his run would be more Way-style uber-wackiness.

He co-wrote his own comic called "The Last Christmas." I haven't read it, but I remember him promoting it a few years back. I think it's about Santa fighting zombies or something. He's also written a few episodes of Metalocalypse on Adult Swim.

I've actually never read Deadpool on a regular basis, and I think Posehn is a pretty funny guy so I'll give it a chance for sure. So far I've been pretty underwhelmed by the creative team announcements. You expect guys like Fraction, Remender, and Hickman to switch to new big titles, so someone like Brian Posehn coming to Marvel is actually a bit exciting.

I'm a fan of the Marvel characters for sure, but haven't really been big into the books. Been looking into starting Cap, and this seems like a good time as any. I'll just put it out there and say I like Romita's stuff, from what I've seen.

I don't have opinions on the creative teams for the most part. But I'll be giving a shot to Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Deadpool so far.

I know exactly who he is. I think he's talented. My issue is that in the past other movie and TV writers have been given work at Marvel and there's been constant issues with lateness or bad storytelling. Just because I have low expectations doesn't mean I hate the guy or anything. It's just that situations like this usually leave a bad taste in my mouth when it's all said and done.

He once was one of the top guys in the industry but for whatever reason, he's been awful the past few years. Hopefully he's only drawing 1 book and it's Cap because he can't seem to handle multiple titles.

That XML creative team is unknown to me as well. And I guess I won't be reading F4 for a while.

Okay, I thought you might have been bashing him without knowing who he is, based only on other TV writers/Hollywood types performances in the past. And I certainly agree that true Hollywood types do have a bad track record in comics. But given his sense of humor I think Posehn is a great choice for Deadpool, as long as he stays on track and isn't distracted by other projects. I can't say for sure, but I doubt he's the busiest guy in Hollywood.

Exactly.

If that does mean X-men Legacy is rebooting than I hope it's drastically different. It was basically the same book after Schism. Since Rogue is in Uncanny Avengers I hope she isn't in the book at all anymore, and I hope it isnt just about the teaching staff because WatX is basically that.

Its been confirmed on twitter by the writer that the Legacy is not X-men legacy

What are the chances of Chamber becoming a role with more than 3 lines in a year's time? :(

What if Legacy becomes a Generation X reboot with a name change? :) Blink's back in the spotlight. X-Factor's cast is being cut in half so that could potentially free up Monet. Husk and Chamber have just been background in W&tXM and Legacy. Jubilee's free now that Gischler's gone.

It could happen. :)

My first thought was Ms. Marvel's new Captain Marvel title... but that would make no sense. It just started last month. Then again, if Marvel thought they could double the profits by coming out with two #1's for a title in a few month span they'd do it.

Hmm, I hope it's an X-book then

A lot of signs seem to have it pointing towards a New Mutants relaunch. Which would be nice, since I like all those characters and was sad when I saw it was ending. The writer is the same guy who did the X-Club mini series, which was actually really good. The telepathic starfish that attached itself to Dr. Nemesis' head was hilarious.

Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic on Thor? My favourite Marvel writer and favourite Marvel artist working together in my favourite corner of the Marvel universe? Shut up and take my money!

Also nice to see Kieron Gillen on Iron Man, I'll be picking that up. Those used to be my two favourite Marvel comics, but I ended up dropping both. This could draw me back.

If that's the case, then I want Sam and Karma back on the team. Nate and Blink can stay too.

Any day of the week! I like the all individually but for some reason put them together and I'm not as interested. And I LOVED Sunspot back in the 90's and somehow this new series that is finishing made me not care about him. He bored me to tears.

Blink, Chamber, Jubliee, Husk, Penance, and Monet reuinite to find Banshee, Synch, and Skin who were all resurrected during Necrosha. There's the window! Heck, even Maggott could be in that since he was in Necrosha and a Gen Xer for an issue :)

Sunspot was a bit boring b/c his obsession with Magma was a bit creepy.

From your description, I'd be into that Gen X book as long as it didn't take Monet away from X-Factor or Blink from NM. Heck, I'd read that just to see more Husk and to finally figure out what's goin' on w/. her powers.

So I saw dpool creator blasted marvel on twitter with dpool new creative team.

I guess so I don't know much on the guy myself. Just saw a article on it and thought to share.
