Born Again Marvel Studios’ Daredevil: Born Again General Discussion Thread

Oh didn't even notice that. It does make me think more and more, that it seems like they are keeping TV and Film separate, from a production stand point anyway. Not that these things aren't canon or anything like that, but rather in terms of how they are running things behind the scenes. Feige is handling movies and is hand off with everything else , while Brad Winderbaum handles everything TV and animation.

I'm fine with them being two separate divisions. I just hope we get more of these heroes crossing over and meeting each other at some point. We have so many characters right now that it just seems absurd that they don't cross paths with each other. A cameo here and there is always good in my eyes to help the broader MCU grow

I also don't want to sit here and wait until an Avengers movie before that happens. When you look at some of the heroes that still haven't met each other on screen, it sometimes feels annoying.

I guess its a good thing the Murdock and Fisk didn't blip.

I hope they use the old theme.
There's no reason for them not to, especially when the theme briefly popped up in She-Hulk. But at the same time, with this being called Born Again, I could see them going with a new theme. I don't how how difficult it would be to just take the old theme and title sequence and slap "BORN AGAIN" under Daredevil. Or just scribble it in crayon.

That sounds nice and is encouraging, but while the show itself has been gone and is being revived, the Daredevil world hasn't exactly been sitting idle, between No Way Home, She-Hulk, Hawkeye, and Echo. We've already gotten glimpses of how the likes of Matt and Fisk have matured or changed since Season 3. Curious how everyone and everything else has, though.

Can someone keep an archive of all these bold claims people who are part of Born Again are keep making, so we can all look back to them if/when the show turns out to be nothing like the Netflix one? :o

I hope they keep the strong Catholic backbone in this series. I assume they will. Those scenes in the first run were the most impactful.

I think we have Moon Knight and Ms, Marvel to judge Disney on so I expect polite acceptance but I don't expect Matt's faith to play as much of a role as it did in his origin and when he was put up against a different supernatural resurrection with the operatives for The Hand and Danny Rand's faith on Netflix.

Good point.

It would be a crime if they didn't pick up those threads for the new series. It really informed the Netflix series. Even Charlie Cox has made those statements.

"The Catholicism … helps the story. If you want to play a complex, turmoiled character, then give him a dose of Catholicism."

He's even made the point its made him think deeper about his own Catholic faith.
