Correct. To be honest, I don't think there was any plans to treat the Netflix series as canon back then.

So, was it ever revealed how Kingpin got out of prison again after the events of season 3? It kind of feels like the sacrifice made by Agent Nadeem was all for nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Kingpin probably found a way to take advantage of the troubled system after the blip happened. hopefully we'll get an explanation, otherwise I agree, Nadeem died for nothing. I also feel like Matt should have been blipped, because it's more believable that he wasn't around to put a stop to Kingpin rebuilding his criminal empire for 5 years than it is for him to have just been there and fail to put a stop to it.

Not at all. The lighting, cinematography, blocking, and camera movement are very much a downgrade from the Netflix sequences. Cox and Bethel are very much giving it their all and are great as always, but the rest looks disappointing to me. Especially the very fake half dozen shuriken sticking out of Matt and the cheesy superhero landing at the end. Not very fitting for a fight sequence where both guys have given their all.

If you can't see the differences, well, there is no point in us discussing it.

Yeah I'm not usually as harsh about the cinematography as a lot of people around here, but even I'll admit that doesn't look nearly as good as the famous Netflix One-er, or even other previous MCU hallway fight scenes.

That said, still very very excited to see DD and Bullseye face off again (even if Bullseye's costume is a little disappointing)

Okay, yeah I get that. The superhero landing is a bit funny considering DD looks like he’s about to collapse, but I guess some extra superheroics/power boosts is to be expected. Same thing happened with Fisk in Hawkeye.
Still, I’ll take a little bit of ridiculousness if the rest of the show is strong. Let’s hope it is!

So it looks like Frank and Matt had some history we aren't aware of. Frank looks like he really wants to kill Matt as if Matt somehow got Karen involved getting herself killed in the process, hence why Frank wants to beat the crap out of Matt.

I have a bad feeling either Karen or Foggy may be killed off...or both of them...and that it could linked somehow to what line was crossed with Matt? It is looking more and more likely.
