A rebranding of a seven year old series is highly unlikely. I think at best you get another tease of SWORD next summer. Or a finale with some Agents saying their goodbyes as they go to the space based agency permanently.

I disagree. We're talking of a show that's been successful enough to get six seasons - and I heard your 'networks' over there are very strict with what they commission.

I agree, I'm not disputing that. But I think it could lead to Agents of SHIELD ending and the SHIELD characters being carried over to an Agents of SWORD spinoff.

Really wish they'd just give feige control over the tv side, specially with the fox merger. If the mcu is thinking of doing something wit sword (which with captain marvel and morre intergalactic stuff, you'd expect) then would they let agents near it? Even if they do they'd have to play catchup. The films will dictate the design, organisation etc...

That assumes he wants control and has not taken on I am a MOVIE producer airs. When Whedon had more control due to The Avengers and his relatives running Agents shows there was the back and forth even with a Perlmutter/Feige feud in the background.

Possibly. Just that it is a bit of a mess at the moment. Even worse when the fox merger happens.

Stan lee had how many comic titles running at the same time? Think it could be done storywise.

Marvel has the rights to Sword with the acquisition of Fox. Also, as far as shows re-naming. The Connors comes out next week as a rebranding of Roseanne. Good Morning Miss Bliss became Saved by the Bell, Valerie became The Hogans. So it has been done. I am just hoping S6 is well integrated into the post A4 life.
