Marvels Biggest mistakes?

Gwen Stacy having Osborns kids
Gwen stacy dying
Mary Jane marrying Peter

Letting Joss leave after the "Unstoppable" Astonishing arc.....

house of m, Wolverines wins against hulk! Clor, and Lastly again Cancelling Thor when he was getting hot and had a PERFECT team for him!!!!

Letting Ramos draw the current arc on X-Men....ugh.

I'm surprised I have seen this on any list - "The Crossing" in Avengers.
This one story had Ironman become a villain and die, only to return as a teenager, the Wasp become some sort of strange insect creature, and the pointless death of the new Yellowjacket just as she was returning from her adventures with the Guardians of the Galaxy where she had actually become an interesting character, and the return of Gilgamesh (Even if was just so they could hype the death of an Avenger)

Bringing Magneto back again and again and again.......yeah.

I think I mentioned "Tony Stark turning evil and being replaced by a younger version of himself" at the very start of this post.

When the hell did Logan get lobo level powers?
check out marvel vs DC #3 wolverine takes out lobo easily. batman gets his ass kicked by cap as well in that book

Seven years almost to the day. Jeez.

sending kid gladiator back to earth. I'd rather see him in the Shi'ar academy. Becoming a gladiator super guardian. Just seeing more of the shi academy is better than all the earth schools.

Two words: Jeph Leob. His Ultimatum mini single-handedly destroyed the ultimate universe to the point that it never recovered. Its been limping ever since.

The deaths of Jean Gray
Spider-Man Clone Saga
The Crossing/Onslaught/Heroes Reborn era of Avengers
The cancellation of Avengers West Coast
Bendis' destruction of Scarlet Witch (Disassembled, House of M)
Wolverine as an Avenger
One More Day
Ultimates 3 and Ultimatum

Punisher getting a Negroplasty.

Lmao

Well to be fair, I really don't think at the time that it was intended to be a permanent change. It was a silly story. Nothing on the level of the garbage they pulled with Spider-Man and how they've continuously ruined the X-Men.

God... I could go to town on this. I typed up a big OMD reply, but I've made my stance on that known very well over the years. So just know that that's #1 on my list.

Also, the treatment of Cyclops since Morrison's New X-Men and the X-Men in general losing their family feel since then.

Gwen having an affair on Peter with Norman Osborn.

Constant relaunches making a mess of readability for future customers.

Constant death and resurrections making death a boring writing gimmick that no one buys or cares about anymore.

The horribly unbalanced characterization of Wolverine across the board, taking what was once a fantastic character and making him a joke.

Agreed, although I think X-Men is really good right now.
