Welp, this was unexpected. Phase 4 just got a lot more interesting.

I'm surprised they announced it this early. This movie will be released November 2022 the earlier.

The only MCU post Endgame film that I'm waiting for. I'm most likely skipping the rest. lol

I'm here for this. Biggest surprise of SDCC

This was an awesome surprise and they’ve got the perfect guy to play him.

Luke Cage went downhill when Cottonmouth was killed off. This to me is a Marvel redemption for Ali.

Wonder if they’ll give him a Whistler in this iteration.

Dude was proactive and got his just reward. Great for the fans too.

Ali wanting the role most likely sped up the process of the film getting green-lit.

I’ve been wanting top actors who are appropriate for a certain role and fans of a character to make their voices heard asap for this reason. Sam Jackson did it with Star Wars for eg.

Exactly. Let’s see, say no to an actor of his caliber just because he played a villain on half a season of a Netflix show that’s already been canceled, or give him whatever he wants.

Not a hard choice.

We all agree that Jordan Peele is the best choice to direct this, right? Ok.

He can get a little too heavy handed with the fake deep symbolism, but I wouldn’t oppose it.

They could also let Antoine Fuqua or even Salim Akil have a stab at it.
