Marvin Jones III has been tapped for the role of Tombstone, sources tell Deadline.

Reps for Sony declined to comment; reps for Marvel couldn’t be reached. Jones comes to the new live-action Spider-Man after being tapped to voice Tombstone in Sony’s animated Oscar winner Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, as well as the threequel Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which is still forthcoming.
Also known as Lonnie Lincoln, Tombstone is one of New York’s nastiest crime bosses — a Marvel villain who is a recurring foil to Spidey in the comics. Created by writer Gerry Conway and artist Alex Saviuk, the character is a hulking African-American albino with filed teeth and near-indestructible skin. He first appeared in Web of Spider-Man #36 in March 1988.

Tombstone right now is playing the role of a significant villain in both The Amazing Spider-Man comics and the new Black Cat series.

I'm meh on Tombstone in general. One of those Spider-Man villains I just don't find interesting.

I don't see Tombstone as main villain material, he's a solid enforcer, but quite a letdown compared the previous entries.

Idk, I could easily see him as a Kingpin-style main villain. A mob boss as the main villain would make sense if the intent is to make BND a "street-level" Spidey film.

now just round out (I use the term loosely) the cast with Hammerhead (or should I say square off)...
