I would much rather see it as a tv-show, but we would have to settle for a lesser budget that way.

Fine by me. Have it a 10 episode series on HBO. Mass Effect has so many different stories that a TV series works better anyways.

Bioware structured their ME stories to fit the video game medium and any screenwriter who has the "gotta figure out how to cram 8, 9 hours of gameplay into a two hour movie" mindset is of course going to fail. That is not possible.

I saw a fan made cartoon on youtube of Mass Effect and it actually did a very smart adaptation of the Eden Prime mission. Kadian and Ashley are on the Normandy with Shepard at the start and go with her (he used Femshep) to Eden Prime and they run into Liara there as the Geth and Saren are laying waste to it (basically merging Eden Prime and the Therum quests from ME1 together). A nice bit of streamlining, actually. It can be done.

Me too. Even though I hated the ending. I would buy a ps4 just for the mass effect trilogy.

I just hope they have the complete downloadable content missions for all three games with the ps4 version...

There are way to many aliens to do it justice, it would be ideal but just the scale of it is crazy. Maybe a miniseries would be more appropriate but at the end of the day i don't see the point of a movie for a game like this.

I mean what would you adapt, all the 3 games? those are cinematic enough , they are already movie like. Even if you did, what choices would you adapt?, what gender would shepard be? I think if they are going to do something like it it shouldn't be based in any of the games and no shepard, its the only way that it could be well done
