The City of Chicago welcomes meaningful partnerships with federal law enforcement as we continue to direct the full force of government towards driving down violent crime. Year to date, Chicago has recorded a 21.6% decline in overall violent crime, a 32.3% in homicides, a 31.9% decrease in robberies, and a 49% decrease in vehicular hijackings.

A major contributor to this progress has been CPD's Crime Gun Intelligence Center (CGIC) which opened in spring 2024 through a joint partnership with the ATF Chicago Field Office. The CGIC allows CPD to link guns to shootings and investigate crimes more quickly and directly address and disrupt the flow of guns into the city.

With this Administration its quite possible, they would sacrifice anyone to justify solidifying their power.
Or its simply a Deluded man in a country that has one party fuel the flames of violence constantly.

Just look at how Fox News reports, how they talk about "us vs them" "War against republicans" etc, the way they word things with violence in mind.
Feed this to easy to fool people enough and you get someone who just wants to see someone die, do something like what happened to Kirk.

That is the thing with Right Wing Media exclusive, its a breeding ground for these violent attacks.
Because these networks rely on angry people, feed angry people with fear mongering, rhetoric etc.
You create a base that is full of hate and rage to a point where they just dont care who that is aimed at.

Kirk himself got into hot water from the base he made a career with, for wanting the Epstein files released.
They turned so fast and hard on him that the slightest disagreement ended up with death threats to him and his family...from the very base he caters to daily.
