Wal-Mart is going to start taking these things personally.....
Probably the same reason like most of these younger shooters. Probably bullied, s*** on and treated like a reject and they had enough and let their anger go too far and end up taking it out on society. I love how people (not talking about you) either try to blame violent movies and video games OR they go for the whole "he had a mental issue and needed major meds".
There was a shooter or two in the past where their comments online were basically ranting about how sh**** society is or can be.
These will keep happening until society evolves and people stop crapping on people that might be socially awkward or just don't like to socialize a lot. Seeing how people are online over the years, those types quickly get written off as "creeps". Which is a total bs label.
I don't condone their actions because their actions are truly terrible but the ones who lost it for the reasons above I do have a bit of sympathy for. You can only change so much about yourself when it comes to social skills and "fitting in" with the rest of society. Everyone's brain isn't wired the same.
I don't think this is the case anymore. Dylan Roof, the Vegas shooter, the synagogue shooter, they weren't bullied. They're white terrorists.
Some people feel bullied in their own heads by certain groups or feel like they're being ousted. In those cases they're just nuts.

All the more reason to restrict access to guns.
Mass murderers should not be defended for their actions....whether for idealogical reasons or because they were pushed around in school. Defending them encourages others to do the same thing.Well there are definitely the terrorist types like some of the ones you mentioned. I didn't mean all of the past shooters but just some of them feel like they've been s*** on too much and they break.
While that's true I still think some people are literally crapped on by a lot of people for most of their lives and are fed up with it and lose their s***.
There are "white supremitist"terrorists....and "white" terrorists. The Vegas shooter was a white terrorist. The Vegas shooter was a terrorist and a white guy but not necessarily a white terrorist motivated by racial hatred as Roof and the Synagogue shooter were. He shot into a crowd of people indiscriminately during a Jason Aldean performance. The FBI never figured out his motivation.
Not going to solve the problem despite what people think.

If I had meant to imply that his shooting was racially motivated....I would have called him a white supremist terrorist. I didn't do that. I said he was a "white" terrorist because he was white....and he did a terrorist act. If you have read or watched the news for the past decade or more....you will see that most people refer to people of color who do a mass shooting as terrorists....and they refer to white people who do it as "troubled" or "mentally ill" or other similar terms....but they try their best not to call them terrorists. I am calling the Vegas shooter a terrorist (he terrorized everyone at and around that event).....and more....I am calling him a white terrorist because too many people act like white people can't be terrorists or commit acts of terror. We need to call it like it is.....if you are white, and you pull out a gun and start randomly shooting people for no damn good reason....you are a terrorist and you are a white terrorist.Pairing him with those other two implies that his motivations were racial when there is no evidence of that.
I just got hired at one last month. They've twice had us watch the video on how to react to a shooting. The video even said that Walmarts have been targets lately.Wal-Mart is going to start taking these things personally.....

So, you are more worried about what sub-section of terrorist he is lumped in with more than the fact that he is a mass murdering dick head.My original post was in response to Elektra's post where she paired the Vegas shooter with two mass shooters who were motivated by white supremacy. That implies he too was motivated by white supremacy which isn't factual.
I call them mass murdering terrorists. The whole point of my posts have been about how some people are more worried about lableing someone a "racist" mass murderer over the fact that they are basically a POS mass murderer. I know some people are more worried about categorizing things into their proper section and then lose sight of the big picture of them being mass murderers. The Virginia shooter last year, do you refer to him as a black terrorist? What about the man who shot up his workplace in Aurora Illinois?

You misunderstood. My post was pointing out that those three shooters weren't bullied and pissed off at society keeping them down.
But then you described the three as white terrorists, which implies racism as their motivation for doing what they did. True in the case of two of the three but no evidence of that with the Vegas shooter. I didn't misunderstand anything.
In a thread where mass shootings and the motivations behind the perpetrators are being discussed it's important to get it right.
It implies nothing. I called them white because they're white.
Why did you feel the need to specify they were white terrorists at all unless it was to make the point that white terrorism was the motivation as opposed to bullying or lack of place in society?

Being white is an ideology for some. Which is why certain people react the way they do when you point out a terrorist is a terrorist.Because white guys have all sorts of ridiculous reasons for shooting places up as opposed to other races that have ideological reasons. Stop reading so much into this. I said they're white because they're white. Done.
