Fantasy Masters of the Universe - Part 3

We don't even know how they are going to approach transformation or Adam vs. He-Man aspects, if at all.

What if when Adam transforms into He-Man he's even shorter than Adam?

He'll just need an apple box.

iu
He makes her look like Lady Dimitrescu :D

I have no problem seeing him as Adam, but at 5'8 definitely not He-Man.

Now, dude has good facial features, so I would be Ok if he also plays He-Man but having his face deepfaked onto some tall and muscular stunt guy/actor, I think they could get away with that.

Also, unlike the whole Superman/Kent situation, this property is more in deep with magic stuff, so they could say something like people who don't know his secret see him with a different face and voice while those who know his secret like Orko and Man At Arms (and us, the audience) see He-Man with his Adam face. That way, the actor can play both roles in a sense.

Well, they weren't going to get Chris Pratt, Chris Evans, or Chris Hemsworth.

I'm less worried about the actor's height and more worried about the script, direction, visuals, and production values.

Yeah, all of that is cause for concern, but at this moment I feel there is very little info about the project to mean something, hopefully we start getting some interviews with the creatives soon-ish.

I really want this film to be good just so there are more chances of SilverHawks, ThunderCats and Centurions being made.

After more than 15 years of false starts and different scripts and directors, it would be very sad for this to suck, C'mon the current creatives must know that! But I know nothing about the directors or any of the creatives to really feel confident or not.

There have been so many false starts on this thing, I'm not even forming an opinion until we have a full trailer, which knowing Netflix will probably drop a week before the premiere.

Good way to look at it.

I wonder if there was a significant reconfiguration of the project between the switch from Sony to Netflix (which happened about 2 years ago) to now: Its been a considerable amount of time since that and also, going from Noah Centineo to Kyle Allen is kind of a different criteria of casting so I imagine there could be more that we don't know about.

Well, if there’s anyone who can bring He-Man to life, it’s clearly the Brothers Who Say Nee.

I totally agree with the approach, at least in theory, I was never in the bandwagon of making MOTU all serious or gritty, give me color and bonkerness!

Yes, sounds good in theory. But Ragnarok works because of Taika Waititi and his style and humor. Just aping that won’t necessarily make a fun film like that. Hopefully this director has his own fun style to bring that’s in spirit of Ragnarok.
