the trailer looked amazing. i loved the games, and i thought they were totally going to half ass an adaptation but this looks great. and yeah, i think the angels/Valkyries are a hallucination. like at the end, the guy is falling out the window, but it looks like the Valkyrie is "taking" him. 'ey Duncan, any chance i could get a peak at that script?

Returning with a book, the Artist finds the page: a winged
woman led by a pack of wolves over a grizzly battlefield.

In Norse mythology, the only way you get
to go to heaven is to die in violence.
Die in your sleep, you go to hell.
Valkyries fly over the battlefields,
picking out the righteous dead. They

and you're right of course, like there was no Haitian man in the script.. so I wonder if they've at least expanded on it.
Could be studio influence that's changed it to include supernatural elements.
Still looks cool though.

when I first heard about this movie I felt kind of "meh" about it....but after seeing the trailer...wow. I'm sold. It looks fantastic and actually captures of the feel of the games. WOOT!!

The first Max Payne only gets better & better towards the ends so I'd highly recommend finishing it.
