Green Lantern is a space cop, right? Maybe they should have focused on that instead. Maybe instead of an origin tale, they could have established a universe where many planets are linked together and Hal Jordan is the guy who patrols Earth. Audiences may have connected to that better. And it would have been in Martin Campbell's alley.
