What do you think? What can they do with deadpool in the marvel u now?

I would love to see him interact with Spider-Man more, that could be fun. I don’t need a recast and I don’t think marvel will do that.

Well, unlike everyone else on the internet, I don't want Deadpool to become the MCU's Mr. Mxyzptlk... If he's ever introduced, I want him to be born in the same universe as all the other inhabitants of the MCU, not be a pre-existing character borrowed from another movie series.

Recast him. Not now, of course... in a few years. After the X-Men have already been established.

They'd be stupid to recast him at this point. Reynolds pretty much owns this role right now. He loves the characater, and the fans love Reynolds.

I don't really like Deadpool that much. I'd rather he appeared in mcu movie's that had nothing to do with X-MEN.

Just finish off the current batch of films; they're jeuvinile R-rated films and trying to re-do this character 1st along with the X-Men is going to be more of an uphill battle to climb.

The Fox films are loosely connected to one another at best so keeping this doesn't necessarily mean it HAS to have all other films come over with it. That being said, directly integrating it into the re-boot is problematic as well since it just would color it somehow.

Just have them come as stand-alone metatextual R-rated films that may include references to the MCU but pg-13 films don't necessarily have to make reference to it. That way select audience can go to the films and enjoy them for what they are.

Another metatextual R-rated film Marvel should consider is Howard the Duck. So yeah, I think metatextual is where it's at keeping these separate but still enjoyable for fans who also follow the pg-13 films but won't have kids whining to their parents for not queuing up the R-rated films on the television.

The Fox films are not even connected at all, even with the sequels, the continuity is horrendous. Some of the worst ever.

Keep him. Deadpool has no fourth wall, so it wouldn't be an issue.

I definitely think, given what we've heard from the Disney execs themselves, that they don't want to mess with Deadpool. And it will be easy enough for him to make the jump, given that he's self aware and any new R-Rated movies most likely won't be explicitly connected to the wider MCU.

With the full body costume Ryan should be able to play the character for at least another decade. Keep him in R rated solo flicks and creatively censored team up flicks.

This is the correct answer

Def keep Ryan and the couple X-men that have appeared. Keep them in their own satirical world. If needed, introduce minor characters. Preferably, release it under the Fox banner. But definitely keep it R rated and separate from the main universe. He works best in his own universe imo.
Save the main members for a proper introduction into the Mcu. Create sort of a distinction between these mutants and DP's and there won't be any audience confusion.

I agree.

Is there really any desire for him within the MCU? Deadpool is a very unique character because of that fourth wall concept, so he doesn't need to be included in the MCU, though that's not stopping the MCU (or elements of it) from appearing in a Deadpool sequel.

If Deadpool 4 wants Ironman, Hulk, Holland's Spider-Man or even Batman, it can do, and it'll work.

This. I never want to see him in the MCU.

Warner Brothers might object to that last one...

Deadpool is the only Fox-Marvel property that should be brought over to Marvel Studios with its full creative staff and cast intact.* Reynolds is brilliant as Wade Wilson and the writers have done an excellent job of bringing his crazy world to life. Best of all, from Disney's pov, the franchise gives maximum returns for a minimum budget. What studio wouldn't want to earn $700 million on a $60 million budget? It's a no-brainer.

* Except for TJ Miller. That guy is a weasel.

I voted keep Ryan, but the only characters I want him crossing over with are the X-Men & that extended family of characters. So I kinda want to see how they actually bring the X-Men over, which isn't going to be easy to just tie all of them in with everything else.

Keep ryan. Deadpool would be the only one in the mcu to notice the difference and can relate to the audience about it. Breaking the 4th wall and stark pulling him up on it would be great.

I didn't mean it literally, I just meant in the context of Deadpool's self contained Universe the writers could potentially throw anything in there and it would work.

Deadpool needs to be RAW enough to cut a dude head right off, Disney doesn't allow decapitations to be depicted. so for the most part Deadpool should not be in MCU properties but I'm perfectly inclined to allow MCU characters to guest cameo in Deadpool and be mentioned in other contexts

The universe has spoken...Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool and why not keep him and transition him into the Disney Marvel universe. I mean it could work but then again for Deadpool for Ryan they would have to water him down somewhat.
