I would Xclude Magneto and feature a different villain.
I wouldn't mind finally seeing Sinister.

Would jubilee still have the teen demographic though? Maybe in the 80s but not so much now.
They could probably keep the cast and add in x23 instead?
If I had to guess who they'll pull from:
maybe we dont need to see an O5 movie... have their picture shown framed somewhere in the hallways.. acknowledge they were the first team
Yeah, well, he's canonically gay now and if you think they'll have him feature in the film and be heterosexual in this day and age, I have a river to sell you.
Visibility is important, whether they cater to the "minority" of viewers or not.
I think I'd go Shadow King for the first villain and give Storm the leading lady role she deserves. Juxtapose that with Iceman joining the team.

A part of me agrees, but I feel the best way to introduce X-men in the MCU is to have mutants be revealed to the world and spark a debate. Having a terrorist group like the Brotherhood and Magneto is so perfect for that kind of villain. Either way I certainly wouldn't have him appear in every single film.I would Xclude Magneto and feature a different villain.

There might be a case for him to appear in the very first film even in spite of all his other appearances just to set up and shape the world of the X-Men and Xavier's message against his. But I hope they could then have him be dealt with by the end of that first film (jailed or something for a few films and years before we see him again).A part of me agrees, but I feel the best way to introduce X-men in the MCU is to have mutants be revealed to the world and spark a debate. Love that image!Yep. This is my dream roster and visual direction for the first film/series:

Given that Disney have done this deal to help them get into the streaming world, Id say theres a good chance X-Men end up on the new streaming channel, rather than the cinema. Id be fine with this. More than fine. Itd rock.
That really would rock.

I've always thought I'd be very resistant to paying any more subs beyond my cable bill and Netflix and when I first heard Disney were thinking of going into this I was quite pissed off. But this deal might just give them enough properties for it to be worth my while adding a 3rd sub.
Such a great roster, I'd be surprised if they didn't go with that. I don't know how 'faithful' I'd be to the costumes.
Maybe it's just because my first exposure to X-Men was the cartoon and the Capcom games back in the day, but those 90's costumes to me are the "real" X-Men costumes.
Of course, just yellow and blue/black is awesome too, like in First Class or Deadpool, but I just need this particular 90's itch of mine to be scratched.
Yeah, me too. And thats the whole point... and the only real reason theyve done this. Streaming is already making huge piles of cash for Netflix and Amazon, and Disney want in on that action. Now theyve got fresh IP to do it with.

It also was the time when the comics absolutely exploded so a lot of different people who were varying ages during that period will feel the same.
