I don't see why people are complaining this much about the recast? Do you really think Megan Fox is a better actress than your typical VS model? I definitely don't. The girl has no acting talent whatsoever.

Not to mention this is Michael Bay here. People should know exactly how he works and thinks by now. Did people even care about Megan's character? She was only there for eye candy. So this will be the case for the new girl as well

Okay. if the weight issue is the thing I don't believe it. You "fire" Megan for being too skinny, but yet then they go and get someone even skinnier then Megan supposedly was. That just doesn't mask sense there. That's BS excuse. Cause anyone with a pair of eyes can see the new chick is even more fail then Megan was.

Its just a case of Bay throwing his power around, to prove a point. And I guess were never find out the reason reason behind this.

I'm actually don't think the story about Megan's weight as the main reason she had the fallout with Bay to be entirely unbelievable. Bay has always been a control freak, and given his own public spat with Megan after she called him "Hitler" in the interview and his own criticism about her on his website, I think there was probably too much bad blood to begin with, and this weight issue was the tipping point that broke camel's back. However, the real truth behind the scene may never be known, though.

Admittedly, I thought that as well but Don Murphy specifically shot that rumor down...that her comments in September are not the reason she's gone.

If it's as simple as they just knew they couldn't work together this time, then why not come out and say it?

Why the BS that " the script demands dictated that they go another way with Sam's love interest"? Why all the damn spin?

It literally makes no sense.

The weight story kind of makes sense but looking at who they hired to replace, it almost makes no sense.

The comments, supposedly, aren't the reason.

The scenario I'm imagining now is that Bay got rid of her because, after working on two films with her, he just decided to give up...that his advances towards her just weren't working so he just decided to can her because he's pissed that Megan wouldn't break up with her longtime boyfriend.

That makes a bit more sense than the crap we're being spun with now...

On a serious note, both parties have to at least see what's going on in the media. Right now, they're both looking bad...with Bay and company looking the worse, just based on reporting/rumors.

Either way, you would think that damage control would set in and they would want to clear this situation as fast as they can so they could move on. The more the media spins this without the true story unfolding, the worse it is for both parties involved in the end.

Bay may technically win if 3 makes 800 million worldwide but it's a long way until July 1, 2011.

If I was a betting man, I'd bet Ms. Fox opens up her mouth by accident while promoting Jonah Hex, which will then promote a respond from Bay and company.

Personally, it wouldn't surprise me that the appearance/weight story is the real reason...but I just have to disagree with Bay on this one. Just based on recent pictures, she looks okay to me...if a bit pale. But hell, that's why that invented spray tanning...and post production.

That's the biggest point right there...the perception of this whole story. It makes Michael Bay look like a disgusting pig...even if it isn't true. In the media, it's not really about truth...it's about how you spin it.

Whether Bay realizes it or not, he's looking like a *****e right now. Don Murphy doesn't help him by stating that Megan's comments from September aren't the cause of her departure.

I think it's mostly because she can't be pinned down. She's eye candy and chooses roles that exploit her appearance, but then she runs her mouth about movies and Bay and that makes people think she's an ungrateful beeeyotch because she's nothing besides her appearance to bank on.

I think that just makes her complicated. And she certainly seems self-aware about the work, so I can respect that.

And as for women hating her, I can't speak for myself, but I've seen the recent mudslinging at my usual figure skating forum over Johnny Weir wearing crazy outfits or two young athletes wanting to live together and I think, "These women are all crazy!"
