Go back and watch the Revenge of the Fallen documentary...Shia's comments about Bay as a director are basically the same thing Megan said...without the Hitler comment. But within said interview, Shia backs up what Megan has said all along about Bay...that in the end, it's all an act. Bay's got a persona on set and in public and he plays it full tilt.

Kate Beckinsale and Bruce Willis would concur with Megan Fox about Bay...

I don't buy dudes drinks at bars or let them walk all over my genitalia. If at all, I would think her doing it would seem cute or facetious Shia is not a better actor by leaps and bounds so his statements shouldn't hold any more water than her's do. I just don't understand all the Fox hate. She picks roles that exemplifies her sex appeal. So what??? Are all models dirty skanks that we should hate because they walk around in skimpy clothes because they have eye appeal? It would be a crime if Megan only got roles where they make her look ugly and frumpy

She was gifted with good looks. Let her use them. Natural born athletes shouldn't be accountants because people don't like it that they are naturally better than them at sports.

Well, that's not necessarily true about her roles. She was chosen by Bay (for the obvious reasons in a Michael Bay movie). Jennifer's Body is a different animal. Diablo chose her for that one. Yeah, she's the sexpot of the piece but her role's a bit deeper than that.

For Jonah Hex, Brolin specifically asked for her, no other. She wasn't going to turn down a chance to play opposite of Brolin, who's been on fire in the last three to four years. Plus, it was only for one week.

Passion Play is an interesting case. I'm thinking she auditioned for that one or she was specifically chosen. Either way, from description, she plays a circus freak. And, it's an independent film.

So, I wouldn't say she's picked any of these roles. Picked for Transformers. Chosen for Jennifer's Body and Jonah Hex. Have no idea about Passion Play.

The really big one for her, if she can get it off the ground, is Fathom...based on her favorite comic book/artist. From what I understand, she's producing that one and she's really, really trying to get that one going as her next really big star vehicle...

Nah...it won't. He's kind of bullet proof right now. More than likely, he'll be the best thing in the film and that'll get noticed by the critics and fans.

Everything else might get the brunt of the punishment...including you know who...(deserved or not).

I think its either a good or a bad thing. Megan Fox wasn't exacly the best actress of the year yah know? Course this new girl isn't an actress either, but I say we give the girl a chance. She might end up being pretty good, the only problem is what they'll do with Sam and that one girls love story? Not that some shouldn't care, this is an action film not a romance one. I just hope they hanndle it well so no one will hate Sam's character or it won't be fun to watch hating the main human character yah know?

The Hollywood suits know that she can’t headline her own film. Jennifer’s Body was her chance to prove that she’s a bankable star, but that wasn’t the case. Therefore I highly doubt Fathom will be brought to fruition anytime soon.

The criticism about her acting chops as well as JB flopping gave Bay his chance to axe her. Now he is being even more childish by hiring a model to replace her.

I have no doubt that Fox is dead on in her assessment of Bay but she is a new comer with only a hit franchise under her belt and bad reviews for her acting by most critics and people in general, like it or not she can't speak out the way Shia does. She isn't on equal footing with him and I think that if Bay could get rid of Shia he would have.

The only way Fox can save her career now is to do good acting work or play in hit movies...or do both. If Jonah Hex fails and gets terrible reviews and that Mickey Rourke drama doesn't atleast garner her decent reviews she is in serious trouble.

There is no question if Jonah Hex is going to fail...it is going to fail and it will get terrible reviews. That trailer was atrocious.

As some others said, I'd rather have Fox in TF3 than some skeleton modele with no experience.

as I've said in the past
1. there are other damanding hard to work with directors out there, ie kubrick(one of the worst apparently) and camron. In the end, its a combination of these dudes producing bank and also the actors they work with being humble and not sound bite snobs that makes this a smooth process in hollwood.

seeing as how bruce willis was "a big action star" before the fact I'm sure he had plenty to say about bay...even so much as to say he would ruin die hard whereas without bay die hard 4 was "going to be awesome"

after reading what the makeup artists had to say about fox, in conjunction with the the self serving too cool for school sound bites she was/is constantly puttin out I can understand why she would turn around, man up and tell bay off. I see will smith as the antithesis to Fox when it comes to a bay made career in hollywood.

I really can't help but start to wonder if this really is a part of Bay's massive misinformation scheme. I mean, I'm sure that that underwear model is going to be in the movie, but is she really going to have a starring role? It's almost like I'd expect this kind of thing from a parody of Michael Bay, but not Bay himself, as odd as that sounds. Either he's a genius or an idiot, or maybe a bit of both.

As bad an actress as Megan Fox is, she at least had chemistry with Shia LaBeouf. It seems really awkward that she'd be replaced with an underwear model though, especially if she's going to be Sam's love interest. It's like, how does Sam keep ending up with these women who are obviously out of his league? This new girl is probably taller than Shia also, since she's a model, which is going to make it look even more awkward if she's the romantic interest.

I don't think I should be saying "this sounds too shallow for Bay," because let's face it, we shouldn't put anything past him after Transformers 2. However, unless Bay doesn't have even one bit of common sense, it seems totally illogical that when your sequel loses its female lead, you go "so what? We've replaced her with someone who's even hotter and acts even less!" If Fox were being replaced with a better actress, then that'd be understandable, but they're replacing her with someone who's not an actress at all.

I'm not going to miss Fox if she really is gone, but if she really is gone, Bay's choice of "talent" to replace her with is more than a little questionable. I wouldn't even expect Bay to stoop this low unless something's up, especially after the harsh criticism against Transformers 2, but if this is for real then I think he has pretty much given up on ever being taken seriously again.
